Sure, only its #2 :-) the last one was easy, he was one of the 3% that sneaks past the pill! None of this stressful waiting/testing/wondering malarky!

Just because the past few months of using OPK's I have had the + on CD15/16 which would make Ov on Sat 17th/Sun 18th Sept. I'm only on CD12 today.... not that I am moaning about early Ov as it fits quite nicely in with my impatience :D

I was just wondering if it was a common thing i.e. a 4 day diff opposed to a 1 or 2 day diff. However, it is something I will take into consideration in the future as I hadn't up until now.
It is common:o I love early ovs though, lucky you!:j

Jovi, this may be tmi too but sometimes if me and hubby have (ahem) rough/deep sex, I can get brownish type discharge/blood after.....I saw my nurse and she said that at certain times of the month, the cervix is softer and if you BD roughly :D it can cause that sort of discharge......

Thanks for the lovely welcomes....I am very much looking forward to this being my new home (though hopefully it will be a fairly short-term rental!)

Well done on the weight loss, I love Slimming World. I'll be back on it again after our honeymoon! Gotta take my hat off to you for quitting smoking and losing weight!

Thanks MrsB - it's been a rocky road and the weight has piled back on the last couple of weeks...but back on track now hopefully :)

    Morning ladies.

Welcome Triangle,:wave::wave: you seem well prepared for all that lovely baby making. It took me a while to bring OH around to TTC too, now he is quite excited - he's not one to show his feelings much but he talks about it loads now.

I'm glad its not just my DH then :) He is very much on board now and excited...although I hope he'll be as excited as he has been today picking up his new blooming car! Boys and their toys, sigh.

Many many congratulations to Candlewax :j:j:j

Hope everyone is having a good day - after a boring day of driving lots and lots of miles for a pretty awful but thankfully short training course, I'm very much looking forward to curling up with a cup of tea and devouring my TTC book ('What to expect before your expecting' - highly recommend it so far) :)

    Take care

I've been resisting coming back, as I am trying not to get too obsessed by ttc malarky, particuarly as we have had problems on that score in the past, but just find I spend lots of time googling related sites instead.

Sadly, our little bean didn't make it past 6 weeks. We had a miserable time last weekend and it was confirmed by a scan on Monday of last week that it was all over. I was initially going to have an ERPC but at the last minute opted for natural management and the bleeding stopped on Wednesday last week.

We have decided to try again, though OP wants to put a time limit on the attempt, partly because we are getting older and he doesnt want to be working to support a university aged child in his mid seventies, and partly because we have spent a lot of our married life trying to conceive and it is bloody stressful sometimes!

So, I have 6 months to get another BFP and taking the first day of bleeding from the miscarriage as CD1 I am now on CD11. I have been taking zinc, vitamin B, my prenatal vitamin, omegas and vitamin C every day for a week and started on the robuttissin yesterday. I've also been using ov tests for a week but still negative and my CP and CM don't seem right yet for ov. I have heard though that you may ovulate late or not at all following a loss and it may take a while to come back, but also paradoxically that you are most fertile in the 3 months following, so I hope I am in the latter camp. We have also been SMEPing as it worked well for skintchick, but unfortunately DH worked late last night and didn't get home until 4.30 am so have already fallen off that wagon. We will pick it up tonight though and hope that an extra day's rest before ov doesn't sabotage the whole idea.

Hugs Nicki. That is awful, and I can imagine it is hard to come back to this forum. Well you will find the best support here. Some really nice and lovely people on here. Hopefully and fingers crossed that you can get a BFP soon.

Welcome Esio Trot. I love that book. One of my favourite Roald Dahl books.
