Welcome back Morocha! Unusual these days for your wedding night to be so *ahem* special! Must have been pretty amazing!

CodeMonkey - pants to low libido! What is this maca stuff?

Another permanently cold person here. Never used to feel the cold till I lost weight - guess I've just lost some of my insulation!

Clearing out my pockets - I second that about May BFP's - we seem to have been really short on the ground on those recently. Could def do with a few more I reckon!

It's a Peruvian tuber. Supposed to be really good for hormonal balance and fertility. You can get capsules or a powder to sprinkle on your food.

    I am also constantly freezing.

Well I can’t offer a BFP, but I think I am officially late now. But you can be the judge

So - I Had a strange moment last night. I was heading to bed, and last thing I did the obligatory knicker check, and nothing. I’m trying not to be hopeful...

Anyway, so I had a quick, ahem, internal check of CM and it was clear and slippery. But, next thing I see a drop of blood in the loo! And I mean the very next moment. So I check again, and yes – bright red blood! Cue small moment of crying the bathroom. Rebuke myself for getting excited, pop in a tampon and off to bed to feel a bit sorry for myself. Oddly I still have sore boobs, and only very mild AF symptoms.

This morning I got up, FMU, then realised there had been no more bleeding at all overnight, it must have been nothing more than what I saw. And nothing since. Boobs are still sore, which is normal AF for me, but it clears up the moment AF arrives, in fact normally the day before. I think I may have slightly nicked myself with my nails! That’s all I can think of as it was so instant, such bright red and so short. However, as a result I missed using FMU, and so will wait until tomorrow.

Thing is I really don’t ‘feel’ pregnant, but then I have no real idea what it feels like. I imagined it to be a bit more significant that being a bit more tired, and with AF symptoms that are just a bit different to normal. I got a positive OPK on about CD11 if I recall correctly, so I am pretty sure I am over 14DPO. I’m super nervous to test as if it’s negative then I have no idea what is going on. I had quite noticeable cramps last Thursday, a few on the weekend, and not much since. Sore lower back, bit of a headache, but it’s all just very mild...

So booking of December holiday is still on hold. Fingers crossed..

I meant to ask the other day about low temps as I know there was some discussion of it. How low is a problem? Or is that like asking how long's a piece of string?? I'm always cold, and even my high temps after ov. aren't particularly high when I look at other people's charts.

What can I do to warm up?? I'd love to be able to feel my feet lol.

tealover I think if your temps are chronically low (under 36.6 celsius Ive read in a few places) than it may indicate thyroid issues, though I have spoken to women who have similar temps, been tested for thyroid function and not had any probs with their thyroid. Just one to watch out for us TTCers because hypothyroidism can affect fertility.

Otherwise, just wrap up with loads of layers, and dont wear sandals unless its 20C+! :rotfl: (I have been known to wear sandals in 0-5C).

I also have reynauds so my fingers and toes are constantly freezing, and the only thing that really prevents the white fingers you get with reynauds is taking garlic supplement.

QQuaver, I am CD17, Yes i do hope we conceived while on holidays !
Mogwai, I have been thinking about having a baby since end of last year but DH wasnt really into it and we were not in a good place, i went back home for 6 weeks then came back to the UK in Mid Feb and he said we would like to try, anyway we never really tried the proper days near OV, because he would freak out. After a bad patch I decided to just leave it so I left this thread in April I think. Here I am and OH is on board this time and have done homework for this month, so waiting to see, really !

Good luck with it, heres hoping it happens soon - my anni was back in march, and we started trying properly in feb so we have similar TTC stats! :)

Don't drink or go to the wee for four or five hours, then give the test a go! I couldn't wait until tomorrow...
