But then I do get angry with myself and try not to get too excited as I think if the higher I get my hopes the higher I have to fall!

I used to do that but then I figured this may be the nearest I ever get, so I may as well enjoy it. Which to my warped mind made some sort of sense :D.

Makes complete sense. Last month I decided it's ok to have high hopes as long as I'm prepared to deal with the disappointment...

... which I did. In a fairly ugly, tearful, hormonal way....

Otherwise, I think I'd spend the whole cycle just being anxious and miserable. Which wouldn't be much fun.

And PMA is supposed to aid implantationbaby.gif

In my case, I'm keeping up PMA until the next 2ww:D

If my actions in the 2ww are anything to go by (or, really, my inner thoughts that scream "come on bean, you know you want to implant....you know you can do it....come on") I am going to be one majorly pushy mum.

Chinese tiger mother has nothing on me - I get going at Embryo stage with high hopes for my offspring;)
  • Colleague brought her two month old baby in for another work colleague's leaving lunch today. Cue womb clanging at me!

Managed to avoid holding him though. I really wanted to, but wouldn't have been able to hide the broodiness.

I try to be positive in the 2ww, but once I start planning how I will tell my Mum I know I am on a hiding to nothing! I mentioned before I am out of touch with friends, and I so want to be able to chat again and need to get rid of this elephant in the room.

The thing is, my friends would love to be there to support me, but I just can’t face the discussions. And so I end up blocking people out, but realistically I just can’t face discussing such personal stuff with friends. Happy to with all you lot though! The worst is the look of pity that I just want to avoid.

Anyway, I am doing it today (planning and believing) and I know it’s not going to go anywhere! I am a bit distracted by it today, but mild headache is starting up, which is a pretty reliable AF sign, and a generally more ‘wet’ (sorry TMI!) feeling. I have a new colleague today who is sitting next to me, and must wonder why I have been to the bathroom about 10 times...

Remember, all pre AF SSs are exactly the same as pg symptoms. Don't count yourself out yet:o
