 everyone I'm just popping in to say hi! Nothing interesting to report but just wanted to say hello! I'm still reading everybody's posts but not posting much as we are not trying this month [STRIKE](although that doesn't stop me looking at second hand cots on gumtree and maternity clothes on ebay. HELP!!)[/STRIKE]

tealover - yay for OV :j I get very excited about the lines on FF! Kitten is right, as far as I remember from a recent discussion your body reabsorbs the eggs. Although there was quite an amusing discussion about a little omelette being made inside you.............

zcrat - glad you had a good weekend in London! I LOVE shopping after a little bit of wine at lunchtime :D

QQ - this waiting must be horrible for you! Hope you can keep yourself busy and the time will fly by.

lulu - hugs for AF :(

tinks - fab bunting, as always! bet you will be selling loads for jubilee parties etc!

You'll be far too exhausted to get up to any BD'ing if you're anything like us - the whole day is the most tiring thing ever.

OH and I were staying in a posh hotel after our wedding. We got there, walked up the 4 flights of stairs absolutely shattered really looking forwards to getting to bed. There was a door at the top of the stairs before we could get to our room and a card thingy to open it at the side which our room key didn't work. Cue my first married strop where I made hubby trundle down to reception to get a new key. He comes back up and........................pushes the door that had been open all along.:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
    :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

When we got married we were staying in a really nice B and B near the reception venue. DH had checked in our bags in the morning and when we got back after the wedding he couldn't remember which room we were in!! So we were trying the key in a door which he thought was our room and I had visions of some poor person coming to the door to be greeted by us all dressed up in our wedding gear! Thankfully it was the right room but we still had to go and find the owner to help us open the door (dodgy key getting stuck!) Love memories like that!

LOL re wedding memories! We were told we HAD to BD on our wedding night as SIL threw a strop and told me it was lame to not do so - as it is I really dont remember if we did or not! (but we were living together anyway before that so..)

fertile period coming up for me, this is the week! fingers crossed we get a good pattern of BDing this week, last week was pretty good but unfortunately the wrong week :o

On a random note, been trying since 11 to get olympic tickets in the pre-sale - they must have been sold out within the minute, as NOTHING was available, and I tried everything -what a joke! Am so peed off now, need to go find a cup of tea to calm down :rotfl:
We got rid of the kids. The cat was allergic. ;)

    Debt at LBM (Sep 07): £13,500. Current debt: [STRIKE]£680[/STRIKE] [STRIKE]£480[/STRIKE] [STRIKE]£560[/STRIKE] [STRIKE]£13[/STRIKE] £0 overdraft :D
Current aims - to start building up savings
    1st £1000 in 100 days - £1178.03 :D 2nd £1053.38/£1000 :D 3rd £863.59/£1000 :o

Tea Lover, I know your FF says 4DPO, but doesn't it look like 3DPO?:p
As for eggs, I think the body just absorbs it. Don't worry, I don't think you are making an omelette in there:D
Good vibes, it is recommended to test at around 14DPO.
My clinic tests at 12DPO, but theirs are blood tests:cool:
I've never tried homebargain hpts, but some only ever gives out really faint lines (IC hpts). Perhaps test again in a couple of days?
Mrsj28, found any nice cots and maternity clothes?
Gemmzie, DH couldn't perform on our wedding night, as he drank too much:mad:

Olympics are not really my thing so decided to give those who really want to go a chance by not applying for any tickets:cool:

I'll obviously be pg by then, and don't want to risk any discus flying my way:p

    QQ - I thought it was 3DPO! I've settled on 3.5 lol.

Some of the wedding day/night stories reminded me of how stupendously drunk I was at my wedding :o. Probably one of the many, many reasons why the marriage only lasted a few weeks :rotfl:

Am I the only one (think I may be) that actually quite enjoys the 2ww? It's so much easier than the stress of waiting to ov. The first part of the cycle can take aaaaages for me so it's great knowing this bit is going to be 14 days tops. Plus it takes all the effort off BDing so if we can't be @rsed it really doesn't matter. It's the only part of the time where I have any PMA - as soon as I think I've ov'd my PMA rockets and I'm totally convinced I'm PUPO.

I'm always PO but hey.... at least I get 2 weeks to dream :rotfl:

I'm with you there!! Definitely agree! The end of the 2ww is always a bit depressing when I realise AF is on the way, but other than that I actually quite like it - for all the reasons above! Enjoy :)

ETA: Who am I kidding? A BIT depressing? I was a weepy hormonal nightmare for the last few days of the 2ww this time round!! :D

I do the dreaming bit in the 2ww too.

This month I have planned how to decorate what would be our nursery and I'm only 3dpo!

But then I do get angry with myself and try not to get too excited as I think if the higher I get my hopes the higher I have to fall!
