Trying for a Baby Part 7
Comments
-
Hope everyone is ok. I would like a bit of advice:
We are both 34 I have 2 children, we are trying for a baby together. Been trying since xmas, although had to stop for one month due to smear. Not pregnant yet, OH has juvenile arthritis so doesn't always feel like BD every 2 days, so we decided to get a little more scientific. Have been using OV tests for 3 days and I am on day 16 of cycle and the tests are still showing negative. I haven't been on the pill for 13 years and had coil taken out 7 years ago, so it can't be birth control affecting things.
If I get to AF and there is still no pregnancy and no signs of OV do you think it will be ok to go to docs? I don't want to seem impatient, but feel that if there is a potential issue surely it is best to get medical assistance as soon as poss?
Thanks x0 -

Happy mother's (to be) day folks:wave:
Maire, how are you? Your temps look good:cool:
Lilymay, one always gets cramps (could also be implantation cramps:p) and get hormonal while in 2ww (((hugs))).
Some say being happy makes it easier for the baby to implant:cool:
Tinkwings, that's an amazing Olympic ticket, lucky you:j
And that bag is lovely as always:)
Time2deal, so long as your cycles are longer than 21 days and LP is longer than 10, it is perfectly normal:)
AllyS, it's fine to go to the doctors, but they usually won't do much unless you've been trying for over 12 months (sometimes 2 years if you are under 35).
Since you already have 2 children, it is most likely that there is nothing wrong with you:o It is normal to take up to 12 cycles to get pg:o
Was it easy to get pg with your other children? Easy birth?
Have you tried temping?0 -
Hi
Thanks for reply.
Yup pregnant in first month with other 2. They are 13 & 10. Eldest I had pre eclampsia from 25 weeks and ended up being pretty ill. Youngest text book pregnancy and birth, no problems or issues at all. No I haven't tried temping. I will read up about it and need to find thermometer
I am prob being very impatient because the other 2 pregnancies were very quick! But I do appreciate that they were super quick and that 12 month is more normal x0 -

You should temp first thing in the morning before getting up, wc, drinking, talking and with minimal movement, ideally at the sameish time every day.I am prob being very impatient because the other 2 pregnancies were very quick! Thanks for your lovely support and advice.
Downloaded a symptom app and found the thermometer so let's see how it goes
Thanks again xx0 -
Good morning. I've not had my lap top for a few days so have a lot to catch up on. Hope everyone is ok. Managed to get my folic acid from asda. Not quite sure what to do with the nappy!! OH is away working this weekend, but as his services have not been required its not so bad. Off out with my friend later. My FF chart thinks I was fertile last weekend so I'm wondering when is the earliest I can test or when is the best time? (I know its too soon just now!) This 2ww is not fun. Hugs to anyone in need.
