    Hi everyone!

Newbie here, came off microgynen 16th April so early days for me.

What do you all think about letting others know you're ttc? Hubby and I have decided not to tell anyone, feel like there'll be less pressure that way.

Could someone give me a quick rundown of your abreviations? Some of them I get but some I have no idea :)

Welcome msnigella  Hope your stay here will be short and sweet! I've told a couple of very close friends that we are ttc, but mostly I come on here and chat to the lovely ladies about it all!

time2deal - good luck testing this evening! :rotfl:at operation poking b00bs - I do that during 2ww and I am never sure whether they just hurt because I am obsessively squeezing them!!

COMP, I know, where are all the May BFPs:huh:
Tea Lover, some people always have low temps but get pg easily, so don't worry too much:o One way to warm up is to do exercises, and cut down on cold drinks:o
morocha, you DBd many times on your wedding night? Great stamina:T
codemonkey, my DH is a once a week man too:o
You need to tell him one only has a 24hr window to get pg/month.
    Maybe he'll understand then:o
tattoo, fingers crossed for your house:)
    Time2deal, fingers crossed:)
TBH, spotting near AF is usually pre-AF spotting, but you never know.
    Good luck testing tonight:)
    maire, massive hugs for AF:(

As for short AFs, I'm not sure:think:
Like pixie said, it sounds like your lining is not thick enough, but I don't know:think:
    Cranberry juice? Agnus Castus?
    msnigella, welcome:wave:
There's a list of abbrevs on the first post of this thread:)
As for me, I have only told my family members that we are ttc.
I don't want people offering advice or asking if we are pg yet:p
morocha, some young children can 'see' the baby before +hpt:cool:

QQuaver, no, she loves babies so much and in her school there are babies everywhere she is one of the few children there without a sibling and that makes her sad. When out and about and she spots a baby, she grabs my hand and takes me there for me to look at her/him. When i use a push up bra she askes me if i am pregnant, her nanny got a bit of a belly and she asked her last week if she has a baby in her tummy.
7 months ago my friend had a baby and whes we went to see them, my DD asked if this baby was for us to take home. bless her

morocha - she sounds like an absolute sweetheart! I guess it can't be easy for you when you know how much she'd like a sibling. Just remind her of some of these things when she's a few years older and moaning at the younger ones lol.
QQ - don't tempt me! I quite enjoyed the VIP free trial (especially now I'm in the 2ww again) but we are muchos skintos atm.

Thanks for the replies about low temps ladies. The highest I've ever got (post ov) was about 36.5, usually it's aroudn 36.1 ish or lower. Think I'm just cold-blooded.

Under my tongue. Tbh I couldn't tell you if my mouth's dry or not - it's a wonder I can even read the thermometer at that time of the morning lol.

I did think about twinkle temping but just the thought of OH's horrified face if I suggest it is enough to put me off:eek::rotfl:

I think however I temp it'll be low as I am really freezing cold most of the time.
