    Still keeping my fingers crossed:)
    Could you have ov'd late? If so, do you think you BD'd on time?

    I need to use OV kits next month to see when I am ov-ing. It could have been late but we shall see. We BD-ed quite a bit so fingers crossed. But I think AF will be visiting.

    Big TMI, but when your DH/OH ejaculates, does it all come out in one go?:o In my DH's case it take 5 or 6 goes to emtpy everything out so to speak. It doesn't shoot out, but seems to take a lot of effort to squeeze them out:huh:

    I seem to have a gush to start with (when I disappear off to the loo) then the rest seems to come out over the next 12/24 hoursish. I don't know if that helps?

    Edit: misread the question lol. My dh seems to come out over a minute or two. As far as I can tell it comes in waves so four or five erm ... Spurts? Maybe?

    Well cd18 and no news to report. Had a slight line on a opk with fmu but can't test again until tonight as working on my own until 6 again!! I know you're not supposed to drink for 2 hours first but does it matter if you've not emptied your bladder before this two hours? Ie I'm going to work now. Ill probably have a couple of cuppas and a can of coke stop drinking at four and test at six - will that work or will I have to pee at six then not drink for two hours then test at 8???

    QQ - sounds perfectly normal to me. Varies from person to person, and also varies according to lots of factors, so don't worry about it. Sometimes my DH comes *bang* all in one "load"(!), and sometimes it takes a few spurts, as secretdebts said...! :rotfl: the things we discuss on this board, love it!

    just read this out loud to my DH, he looks unimpressed...! :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:

    No it doesn't, there seems to be an initial 'bigger' for want of a better phrase spurt followed by a few little ones. It doesn't shoot out all at once.

  • Hello lovely ladies... I'm a newbie on this thread and would very much like to join you all if I can! Been lurking for a few days but would love to be a part of it all!
    I've been giggling away this morning at the last few messages :eek: - childish I know but its nice to see its all very open!!

    We started TTC#1 early August - AF came a week ago...boooo! Although really didnt think I would be that lucky for it to happen in the first month!!

    I had no idea about the best fertile times for me until I read this thread so hopefully this will help me along the way! I think I'd like to try some OV tests this month (I have done the online calcs which say best time to try is between 16th - 21st this month - have already booked it in with OH!) but want to make sure - what are the best ones to use? Do they work?
    I noticed some of you buy them from Amazon - are these reasonable as cant really afford a lot of expense!

    Good luck to all on here, and a huge congrats to all those recent BFP's!! I cant wait for mine!! x

    According to that, you are 5 weeks and 1 day pg and your due date is 12th May 2012:j

    That's my birthday:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

    I have always been convinced I will have to share my birthday in the end :cool: but it won't be 2012 by the looks of it!

    Back to catching up with the rest of the thread!

  • Hi everyone caught up now :j

    QQ my OH is exactly the same :)

    I am so bad got into a real habit of eating bad and of course drinking more wedding, honeymoon etc. Last night eating take out I convinced myself I want to go to the gym today I will enjoy it, I will feel better afterwards and do I fancy it today? :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

    So I know this is a naughty question, but when can I test???? I think AF1 is due Thursday/Friday.....

    I am not getting my hopes up too much will really need to instill SMEP strictly next month! :rotfl:

    Welcome :wave:

    Interesting discussion going on, lol, my hubby is the same, sometimes it all comes in one and other times it seems to take a bit more effort and a few attempts to get it all out, I'll ask him about that later, lol

    Has anyone else seen "19 kids and counting?" I have it on while I'm doing the ironing, the mum is so relaxed, I'm loopy with just one, hahaha
  • Hi Squ1rrel5, welcome :wave::wave:

    Yet another question for you ladies and just out of curiosity really.

    It's the start of SMEP for me, so I started off with my 1st OPK today... and I have a faint line.... already, 6 days earlier than usual.

    Is there anything that would cause this? Is it just a blip? Or can Ovulation days have this much of a change?
