Yep, you'll end up with 8 kids! Although her pregnancy wasn't accidental; 8 embryos were actually put back in (by a doctor who's unsurprisingly since lost his licence).

She said someone gave her a dried up one when she had problem conceiving her second (me) after she lost a still born baby at 6 months. She was in New Zealand at the time.

When my parents lived in South Africa (back when they were first married) they had a maid who clearly thought they needed some help and they kept finding little fertility statues hidden under the bed! They weren't TTC at the time so were quite thankful that the statues didn't do their job! :rotfl:

My Mum has a dried up seahorse somewhere I'm sure... I'll have to borrow it. ;)

Sending lots of good vibes to your eggies! :D
Overcome the notion that you must be ordinary. It robs you of the chance to be extraordinary!

QQ - :j for egg collection and for seeing DH, and travelling back with him!! Have everything crossed and praying for you to get your BFP very soon...

    Dead seahorse?? :rotfl:

I'm not sure about fertility statues... but my MIL is so desperate for grandchildren she is stockpiling baby and toddler toys under the spare bed where we sleep when we go and stay.

Maybe she thinks it will help? She doesn't know we are TTC, and I haven't told her that I've found her stash of baby stuff under the bed....

And in any case, s e x in their house is not a regular thing, walls are so thin :rotfl:
