I'm all for tempting fate! The month I concieved DS, I was convinced we'd not BDd at the right time and so bought myself a CBFM. I was all set with my sticks to pee on for my next cycle and then AF never showed...

I'm hoping I'm tempting fate by starting TTC now instead of waiting til the end of the year - hopefully if we start now I'll catch fairly quickly, whereas if I waited it'd take a while. This makes sense in my little world, anyway

Maybe the acupressure has got things moving Tink? So everything is ready when the time comes.

Egg collection is done:cool:
They collected one mature, one almost mature and 7 immature ones. I just need ONE!!!

DH is here until Sunday, but I'm following him on Monday:cool: No BD until next AF (infection), but I suppose we could do something (with protection) in the weekend:shhh:

If any eggs makes it to blastocyst (just before implantation), then they'll freeze it for later cycles

I'll tempt fate and return with DH before I get the blastocyst results:cool: I'll have to come back in a week with a new airline ticket if I want to get the eggs back in me next cycle:p

As for testing twice a day, I tend to have negative at 4pm but positive at 11:45pm:D

Here's one where I did many at different times, +OPK at 11:45pm on the 17th:


If I did an OPK at 4pm on 17th and 18th, I might have thought I didn't get a +OPK:cool:

Squirrles, I know, once you tell someone you are having trouble conceiving you'll get endless suggestions. Mum keeps giving me tips as well, put a sea-horse under my pillow, don't think the clinic we are going to is good, I should go to a clinic where so and so got pg 30 years ago...zzzzzzz And that was last week.
Nicki, I thought your post was well put, I haven't read Moneypenny's posts as it's deleted now.
After years of TTC, I don't get offended by newbies getting pg on their 1st TTC these days:o

I got it because I thought it was so cute and my heart kinda broke a little (yes, very corny). It's supposed to be unisex but I think it's more suitable for a girl then a boy. But I'm not fussy about gender. I'll take whatever I can get - in a non baby stealing way

Ditto. I actually went even further than that; I paid for VIP FF membership, bought a Mooncup at £22, and I got 30 OPKs from Amazon.

I have used about 15 OPKs. I have an unused mooncup in my bathroom (which I'm very much hoping will be 'too small' to use in the future), and I can't work out how to make FF into a pregnancy tracker (I think it may be a big con), so I've got that ticking away in the background too.

I didn't think it was because of infection. I was always told no sex between EC and date of testing just in case there were uncollected eggs that by chance fertilised. Whilst this sounds fantastic, you might end up with multiple pregnancies you certainly weren't expecting :eek:

If you can guarantee your contraception is 100% I reckon you could squeeze in a bit of sexy-time

This is my first chart - that's why I'm confused about how it's chosen the fertile time... but then most of life confuses me these days
