What a nice start to brighten up Monday morning
Hello emsbet and sa-ra-ra-ra - how are you ladies doing?
p.s. I'd love to join in with the  rant about 'you just need to relax'. One of my very lovely dearest friends who knows we are ttc and is incredibly supportive... she got pregnant in her first month of trying (over a year ago now) and said to me recently 'you just need to know your body and relax'. Erm..... I think I know my body a bit too well know after obsessively checking my cervix and cm..... and as for relaxing, well, I was pretty relaxed for two or three months and that didn't really get me anywhere.... She is still a super lovely amazing friend, I should add!0 -

Um, yes, they are actually - it's just all taking so long! I appear to have got myself into the care of two PCTs - one for a high risk pregnancy, which this is now counted as, and one under the recurrent miscarriage clinic.
We saw the consultant at the RMC last week, they did a TV ultrasound which didn't show anything (but noone was worried as it was very early then). He sent us off for billions of blood tests, gave me a copy of the RCOG guidelines for recurrent early pregnancy loss, so we know what his treatment plan will be, and has booked us back in for 7+2 for another TV ultrasound to see how it's progressing. We were supposed to be going at 6wks but I'm going to be on holiday then.
The consultant for high risk pregnancy has just booked us in for a trans-abdominal scan this week, which I'm going to cancel as they can barely see anything trans-vaginally at this stage. i've not heard anything from anyone, and apparently my dates are 'unknown' - despite the fact that I've told them I know when I ovulated.
To be honest, I'm inclined to stay under the RMC for care for as long as I can. The hospital they work out of is not the one that I would like to *fx* have the baby in, but I've just had so much better care all the way through from that hospital, even though the other one is theoretically 'better'.
(TMI) I had a 5p sized clot when I went to the loo over the weekend as well, which caused some panic, but I've not bled at all since, my clearblue digi's numbers are going up (showed 3+ on Saturday) and I still feel pregnant so I've decided that I'm Not Going To Worry yet.
How are you doing? You must be about 16 weeks by now? xx0 -
 hello mrsj, I'm ok thanks, just plodding along and trying not to worry too much

I'm glad they are looking after you. Going with the "not worrying until there's something to worry about" is the best way to go. It's something I've tried to stick to (although not always successfully)
The clot must have been scary but like you said the increasing numbers on the CB digi is a good sign.
I'm 17 weeks tomorrow, just waiting to feel some movement. 16 week checks are done at 18 weeks here so it's ages since I've seen anyone and I was made redundant last week so I have too much time on my hands to think and worry
Hi Mssas, sorry you're in limbo at the moment ((hugs))

Wow. I can't believe how fast this thread moves!
Skintchick - I'm sorry if my question upset you. I had no idea that's what the dates meant. I hope I didn't cause any distress
Congratulations to everyone who had got BFP's. I hope many more people get them this year.
I have a 'final' job interview at 1pm today. It's for a graduate scheme based in the North West for a large banking firm. It's the final stage so, fingers crossed, my 'baggage' (husband, child, mortgage, dog!) won't be too much of an issue for them. I felt very old at the last stage - everyone else was 20/21 and some looked incredibly hungover! They were all also very slim and I still have my nice little baby belly
It's times like this I wish I could back to my old job but sadly the person I cared for passed away just after I started my maternity leave. He was a very sick man, but still, death is always a shock.
I *think* I will be ovulating around 5-7th April and, annoyingly, my husband is on a stag-do. Erugh!14th October 201020th October 20113rd December 20130 -
