Hope the broken toe is OK Primmer

Hope everything goes well today QQ :) Enjoy seeing you OH too! :j

Welcome to the thread Lilymay, sorry about your little girl and your father, hope your stay here is short and sweet :)

Thanks for the vitamin chat, it has reminded me to order some more Pregnacare for me (huh... more like Not-Pregnacare!) and Wellman for OH. He takes vitamins anyway so I might as well switch his regular multivits with TTC ones!

Massive hugs for Vesper, Nicki and 2ba

Welcome ChocolateIsLife, nice user name! ;)

Love the latest bunting Tink! :)

Mogwai, I'd love to know how you TTC without TTC too! That's all my childless friends keep saying to me, 'Stop trying and it'll happen'... how little they know! I can't be bothered stressing about it this month (well, I say month, I mean 7 week cycle!) so I've told OH to buck up and we're to BD every 2-3 days without trying to catch OV as I don't really know what's happening down there! The biggest problem with super long cycles though is that by the time anything OVish is happening we're tired of regular BDing! :o

See, I don't have many friends with children, 3 couples tried, 1 pregnant first month, 1 pregnant after 4 months and 1 pregnant after six months. The last two say they stopped trying and that's how they got pregnant, but knowing the stats on how long it takes I can't help but think that's a coincidence.

I also have the same theory with those going for treatment who get pregnant before, especially if they're told to lose weight as that's the best thing you can do if you're having problems.

Course, this is just a theory and I may be talking out of my butt x x

Ps Nicki, thank you for that post yesterday x x

Also, tested again at the weekend, unsurprising bfn but surprisingly ok about, taking a break is doing well for my mental health, although clearly I can't stay wary from you lot lol is it wrong that part of the reason I was disappointed was cos if it was positive I wouldn't have to have root canal? Lol x x

    Hello ladies :)

I know I'm more of a lurker than a poster these days but some of you have asked I keep you posted on how I've been getting on (for the newbies I [STRIKE]spent all my time[/STRIKE] was a regular poster on here for a year or so but took a step back after 2 mc). I had a BFP this morning . I'm in complete shock, my first pregnancy took 7 months and my second 5 so to concieve again two months after my last mc has knocked me for six :o.

If it helps anyone this is what I've been doing.....
OH and I have both been taking pregnacare conception since the mc. I've kept up with the acupuncture. I had a massage on ov day to keep me nice and relaxed (did this last time I concieved too and who cares if it doesn't make a difference, it's nice!). Was trying to follow SMEP but only managed to dtd day of CB digital smiley and the following day.

Also decorated the room I'd kept "spare" for a nursery since moving in 18 months ago as decided there was not going to be a baby in there anytime soon and started to look at new cars which I now can't afford :D

No symptoms at all, don't know if that's good or bad. Going to try and get an early scan (not unreasonable I think considering I've had two missed mc) but will pay for one if the GP won't refer me.

Hoping it's third time lucky for me:o and I will of course stalk you guys and hope you all get your bfp's very soon.

PS OH doesn't know yet so please don't tell anyone :rotfl:

Fantastic news colli! Hope that all goes well with you. The statistics say they should as 3 mmc in a row is incredibly rare, even though when you read forums like this you might get a different impression.

Your news has really brightened up my day! I was feeling quite :( that we were BFN again this month, but its always good when someone who has a similar back story to me gets their BFP, as I know how much joy the news brings to them.

    Congratulations Colli! :j

I have faith that this will be the stickiest of beans! :D

Boo to the BFN TeamLowe, and I'm sorry you have no excuse to get out of the root canal now! ;)

Also, I'd like to guess 9 BFPs for April :)

there is almost nothing that boils my blood more than this . It's up there along with "you just need to relax". Really?! I had a friend who got pregnant the first month and then advised me I was too uptight and should do what she did and just go with the flow. I WAS relaxed and going with the flow for the first few months, it's only when it doesn't happen you start to get stressed about it. Nobody STARTS ttc by being uptight and upset, we're probably ALL relaxed to begin with. The lucky ones get pregnant straight away but plenty don't. Grrrr, rant over :o
