Hi, does anyone know why you are supposed to subtract from your temperature if you wake up late?

I have been charting my BBT since January. On week ends, I sleep the same number of hours but I go to bed later and hence wake up later.

Is BBT dependent on the number of hours slept or the time I wake up?

    So confused!

The time you wake up. So at weekends youll need to set an alarm. You can still input the time on fertility friend website if you are using that, but it will circle it in white to show its not accurate. Or just dont take it at weekends, that arent at a crucial time.

 Why this window gets sooo wide when I try to reply? Is it because I posted pics :p?

QQ Can I predict 10 for this month, please? Fab news about your DH, MIL and OV :j:j:j. Hope you have a super-OV and some super mega eggs :D:D:D.

mssas Good luck. I hope you get your BFP soon.

That's terrible. Big hugs from me.

tinkwings You had a construcitve 2ww. Well done!

tattoo :j:j:j . How do you know that you're ov tomorrow? Do you take your temp?

Roses You should take your temp at the same time each morning and after at least three hours of sleep, so if you take your temp at 6:30 every morning, as long as you go to sleep before 3:30, you're OK. Do you use Fertility Friend?

QQ: We should to OPKs twice a day?!?!!? I wasn't aware of that. Why do we test twice. I try to test once every 24h...

Speaking of tests, my OPK test was more positive than yesterday,if that's possibile:D. Does it mean that I will OV tomorrow and not today?

Here is my test from today (13:00) The control line is the one next to the green end:

    Can anyone help ??
I have ov on the 10th march or so i thought, only had sex on the 13march, i am 7 days late, all the test i have done ill friday were BFN, today i thought my period came BUT it was only a bit of pinkish blood ( sorry ) and sticky and It is gone now. What can this be, my period starting ? implantation ? can this take this long ? i meant i thought by now it would be my period really.

Because my last period was on the 25th February and they say it is usually 14 days after that ?

Do you have regular cycles? Sorry for keep asking questions but not everyone ovulates 14 days after AF. I can OV CD17-24 days after AF but I do have long cycles.

No that's one of the biggest myths about fertility morocha. Very few women ovulate on day 14 of their cycle, just as very few women have a completely regular 28 day cycle. How long is your normal cycle from day 1 of your period to day 1 of your next period? Most women will ovulate between 10 and 16 days before their period is due. The length of the second half of your cycle usually stays the same to within a day, whereas the length of the first part of your cycle from period starting to ovulation can fluctuate wildly, by weeks sometimes.

If you havent been using ovulator predictor kits, or temping, or recording your secondary fertility signs such as cervical mucus or position, you could have ovulated at any point in your cycle, or not at all. But if the last time you BDd this month was on the 13th and you are still getting BFNs it is pretty unlikely I am afraid that you are pregnant, as if you had conceived then or before, you would be a minimum of 18 days post ovulation, maybe more, and 90% of pregnant women will get a positive urine test by this point.

The bleeding sounds like you may be gearing up for AF. If you want to predict when you ovulate and when AF is due, maybe use the few days before she arrives to read about different methods of keeping track of your cycle and decide which one you will use. But if you are going for a more chilled out NTNP approach, you'll need to bear in mind that you don't know when you ovulate rather than assume it is on day 14 otherwise you will make yourself very unhappy.

Congratulations on your BFP moneypenny. Most of us on this thread are ttc at the moment, and though some of us have already got children, others have never had a BFP. There is a thread for very newly pregnant ladies, also on the first page of this board usually. You might get some better answers over there, and not run the risk of upsetting anyone either, given that you haven't shared your ttc journey with us up to this point, and jumping straight in to this thread to announce a pregnancy has in the past caused hurt to some ladies who have been trying for quite some time, and that principle (not you personally)has sadly been cited as a reason in the last few days for some regular posters who we are all close to, feeling the need to take a break from this thread at the moment.

Thanks Aida, I just woke him up and waved the test in his face and he said "is that what you were rattling around in the cupboard for?" (clearly had woken him up!).

Are clear blue digitals good at being accurate? I'm convinced I'm in a dream today and tomorrow's test will tell me something different! :/ let the worrying begin!

    :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

Clear blue digitals are the best one on the market :D but any other brand are OK. If you have a very, tiny faint line on any pregnancy test (and is not a evaporation line) then you are pregnant :D.
