    2b - massive ((hugs))

LilyMay - 'the great sperm race' on Channel 4 is really interesting if you fancy watching it (it's on 4od website), fascinating and makes sense as to why there's only a 25% chance each month!

skintchick - that sounds seriously stretchy  :rotfl:

claire - in the nicest way possible, glad I'm not the only one that had an M&S meltdown today!!!! Inhaling chocolate is the way forward (I think I posted earlier as part of my 'pma' on CD1 that I could take this cycle as an opportunity to lose a few pounds... errrr... might need to cross that one off the list)

ETA - LilyMay - I realise that might not be very helpful, me saying 'hey, here's some advice, go and watch something on the telly... :rotfl:' I don't think doing the deed every day is going to be a hindrance (although I think it can if men have a low sperm count as the sperm need time to build up again). As I understand, optimum time is the two-three days before ovulation, so that you have plenty of sperm ready and waiting for the egg.

I know! I was quite fascinated :o:rotfl: I'm hoping it means I'm super-fertile this month. Course, I also hope OH's sperm are up to scratch. I've got him on multivitamins now, as well as me taking Pregnacare, so we can only hope and pray. I am just so aware of our ages now (37 and 45). We are officially old lol.

    Fingers crossed!

Well done getting OH on the multivitamins. I broached the subject with DH the other day in a hypothetical way: 'what would you think if I [STRIKE]started shoving various tablets down your throat [/STRIKE]encouraged you to take a tablet or two as part of ttc?'

The answer was a categorical NO. But he was very disappointed for us when AF arrived this morning, so might be able to persuade him!

MrsJ - Thanks for the info. I will try and stick to what we have been doing and keep my fingers crossed. I looked up that sperm program but 4od said it wasn't available :(

SkintChick - My mother was 46 when I was born (all totally natural) so keep the faith!

I was very blunt with OH, because at first he said no, so I said: "You seem to assume that any problem we have is my fault. It could well be your sperm that is substandard, rather than my womb, and I think we both need to be doing all we can in order to try and have a healthy, live baby, and as all I am asking you to do is take a tablet once a day, I think it is unreasonable of you to refuse."

He has taken them ever since.

SkintChick - if you don't mind me asking, what are the number's below every post you write? Are they dates? I only ask as one is my birthday (4-3), one is my mothers birthday (22-7) another was my son's due date (11-11) and (21-6) is my wedding anniversary!

 newbies, hope you aren't around very long in the nicest possible way.

    2b massive squishy hugs.

For some reason I am incredibly hormonal at the moment. Doesn't help that I just went and bought a load of easter eggs for my mate's party next weekend, so all of the kiddies can have an easter egg hunt. Think it's going to be a tough one as there's going to be 14 little kids there and they're all under the age of 3. Better make sure I pack extra tissues in the car.
Also didn't help when I went to work today and a load of Charlie's cricket team mates were there that we only tend to see in the summer. They know we were trying last year for a baby (I do their cricket teas and warned them that I wouldn't continue if we were successful). The first thing they said when we walked in, was to ask if I was pregnant yet. It hurt so much, and as some of them are quite immature (teens) they just quipped that Charlie must be firing blanks. I felt so devestated that people must be having a good laugh at our expense. It's ruined my mood all day, and now OH thinks I'm acting wierd with him. I'm just heartbroken.
Remember never judge someone that makes a mistake, because in six months time it may be you that makes the next mistake.

    Morning,

Hugs to everyone who needs them. Sorry for no writing a personal message but I'm typing this message on my phone and it's really complicated (not the best gadget user).

:T Welcome newbies! Hope you stay here is short, no disrespect :D.

QQ Good luck on Monday. Hope you get lots of good healthy eggs although you need just one lucky egg :D.

I had a very nice positive OPK yesterday and here is the proof:
10rs1n9.jpg I was:j:j:j to see 2 lines. We BD last night and I might get some action this morning as well:D. Was it me who said the other day that it will never ever BD after Thursday evening :D?I can't remember now.

So I'm fertile, I'm fertile, I'm fertile and my eggy will meet my DH's swimmers. Have a nice day everyone
