  • Aww, thanks for the lovely warm welcome everyone :T

And, Hi to Lily_The_Legend too :)

Congratulations on the BMI drop Bigzippy :)

OH has been behaving like an over-excited puppy following our decision to try for another baby - am thinking maybe making him wait 6 years was a bit mean now! :o

I'm just trying to get my head around all the terms and things on this thread so if I ask stupid questions, please bear with me!

When we caught with DS it was a complete fluke, we'd only been 'an item' for a short space of time (3 months), and he lived at the other end of the country to me. I think I can safely say at that time having a baby was the last thing on either of our minds!!! All worked out though and OH is the best dad I could possibly have hoped for for DS. We have been together 7 and a half years now and he is my best friend so fate must have intervened for a reason!

We are hoping things will be a bit more settled this time round!

We are adopting the approach of not thinking about it too much (well, I am anyway - OH is already talking about names :rotfl:). I have noticed that I am suddenly soooo much more aware of every single ache, pain, cramp and twinge though - it's like since we decided to try again, I have been much more in tune with my body IYSWIM.

I think I am definately on track to OV next few days, been getting a mild ache in my left side for last day or so. Will check tomorrow. OH seemed very pleased when I told him we will have to BD more than normal this weekend! :D

    Hi Everyone

I have had LOAAAAAAAAADS to catch up on!! Hope everyone is well and hugs to those who need them.

I have been working loads this week with my online jobs so have been very disciplined although I have lurked a bit :p

Just in the 2WW now, but again, really not holding out much hope (only 2nd month trying) I should really get more healthy, fit, lose some weight etc but starting to go through the same cycle..."well I will wait and see if I have BFP" (silly I know.)...."well now I am on AF"....."well now I need to concentrate on BD"....."well now it's 2WW again"

LOL! I need to dust down my exercise DVDs and equipment!!

I feel really ill today, not like me to moan lol! Part of it is self inflicted a few too many wines but even before that I was having crazy stomach cramps which are still here :( Just a bit foggy today!!

Hope you all have lovely weekends :)

I was the same. For about 5 weeks...! Then I bought the OPK strips off the internet for the 2nd month. Now the 3rd month Im temping, drinking grapefruit juice, using a chart on fertility friend and looking at what type of cough syrup and anything else I need to buy for next month if this month hasnt worked! :rotfl:

Its kind of crazy but once you start reading things on the net about it you cant stop!

It really does make me wonder how on earth anyone 10 years ago had a baby, as we are all so tuned into this stuff now, and it still doesnt always work!

Lol, yes, you are probably right, I am not the most patient person at the best of times so will probably be a nightmare in a few weeks!

At the moment, I feel fairly chilled about the whole thing but no doubt the crazies will set in soon :o
