Finally had a temp rise this morning, am not getting too excited yet as it's only the first day with a slightly higher temp (97.73). We DTD on Saturday morning, and then tried again this morning but OH didn't complete... I don't think me shouting 'hooray, my temperature's gone up' got him in the mood :rotfl: I'm hoping if I did OV yesterday then Saturday morning's BD might have been enough. We'll see.

The other good news is, if I did OV on Sunday, then I've got a week's holiday during the 2ww (going on Friday) to distract myself from all the SSing! Yay!

Looks like I have just talked myself out of Monday morning blues by writing this post

Good news on the temp risk Mrsj, and then heading into the dreaded 2ww.

AFM, another BFN this morning, but it is only CD12 I suppose. I had been hoping cleofish's good luck would rub off - is that silly! MrsHappy, I notice you are at the same time in the cycle, how are you feeling? I am getting strong AF symptoms now, particularly lower back pain and my traditional AF headache is hovering just on the edges... not quite there, but I can feel the tension starting.

But, I can't help hoping! Day or 2 to go, and I can't help but test. I remember being virtuous and not testing, but I can't seem to help it these days. fingers crossed anyway, but I suspect I will be CD1 before long.

Ladies,

I am in need of some help. My hubby and I have been trying to concieve for 3 years. I am 36 he is 40. My periods have never been normal I am now on day 70 of a never ending cycle. I haven't had a period since January and I am sooo worried... We have gone to the docs and asked to be recommended to the fertility clinic but papers haven't come through yet even though we've chased. I used to do the CBM but as my periods are all over the place all it managed to tell me was that I was fertile for a really long time! so am now trying the Basel Therm method. I just need some advice re periods.. as am panicing Iam not ovulating!

Thanks - I'm not too worried about the 2ww this time round, because last cycle I had a 4ww because I thought I'd ovulated earlier!! That was agonizing... this time I'll just be pleased if I have actually ovulated!

That said, please don't quote me when I am climbing the walls in about ten days time SSing and trying to resist testing :rotfl:

Hugs and loads of positivity to all, we're starting our BD days soon, looking forward to that and DH is being sooo positive about it, it really helps when you know you both want it loads..

Becks92 - no solid advice from me as we just started TTc recently, but have you been taking any supplements to regulate your cycle?

hi becks92, thanks for your post - I'm quite new to TTC (we have been trying for about 5 months) so can't offer any advice, but I have started using the BBT method and find taking my temperature really useful for knowing when I have ovulated. I hope you get some help from the fertility clinic soon.

This is a lovely thread with lots of very helpful advice and support, I'm sure some of the other ladies will be able to give you some tips/point you in the right direction.

May I join you? Month 2 of trying and fingers firmly crossed that we've got lucky. Currently coming to the predicted end of my fertile time, so hopeful but trying not to get too excited! There seems to be quite a few of you, so apologies if I don't get round to doing perosnal messages for a while!
