Mogwai - never heard of suppliments that could put my cycle in check, what are these?
Having only been BBT for a week or so am already seeing a vast fluctuation so am hoping it will help.
Was thinking of selling the CBM but may try just once more time once I ovulate this time round...whenever that will be.
Before this cycle my last longest was 78 in feb last year and then 54 in December 2011 then Jan 2012 was 20 then nothing so am on day 70 so far...
QQuaver got highs anyway between 6 and 19 days in... but as I am not regular in the slightest was difficult as CBM was getting confused...
Now its just me whos getting confused...
becks - I've read that maca root, vitex agnus castus, B6 can help regulate your cycle, perhaps shorten your cycle as well depending on whats going on with your hormones
Also, do you know why you have irregular periods? My doctor told me that PCOS is a big cause of irregular cycles - your dr should be able to do some blood tests and maybe ultrasound to diagnose it..that will help you decide further what kind of supplements might be useful for you. Also, I assume you are taking a prenatal supplement already?
I would recommend getting a good fertility book to undertstand your cycle and hormones better - I just received one called 'Taking charge of your fertility', just flicked through it so far but it seems very thorough! We got rid of the kids. The cat was allergic.

Hello to the newbies - am rubbish with names and can't find the posts already but you know who you are!
Here's to a short but lovely stay on this thread. Brace yourselves though - nothing is tmi here! :rotfl:
Am still waiting to hear back from the FS about whether we get the SA done first or go to the appt with them first. I didn't think it was that complicated a question but they're just not replying.Fingers still v tightly crossed that we won't even be needing the appt.
Have ordered another thermometer after the manky one I got last time (it had leaked and gone rusty so had to bin it). Am now on CD15 so not the best time to start temping but am thinking it may come in handy later on to try and work out if I ov. at all.
Hope everyone's having a good monday, big hugs to all that need them. I still can't find a good hug smilie so here's a little peck on the cheek for you all :kisses3:0 -

TMI coming up, do you get fertile mucous?:D

With irregular cycles, I find waiting for those the most :money: way to use CBFM & IC OPKs. Just a thought:pQQuaver got highs anyway between 6 and 19 days in... but as I am not regular in the slightest was difficult as CBM was getting confused...
If the lines were always light, then I'd sell your CBFM and get less sensitive IC OPKs from somewhere like this:http://www.homehealth-uk.com/medical/ovulation-tests.htm
I think CBFM was something like 20miu, so you could try 30 or 40miu?0 -
hi everyone, thank you so much for your words, you are really a lovely lot!
As predicted i did another POAS this time with fmu and IC this time the test line is a lot more visible and i didnt need to twist and turn it in the light so im happier about that.
kavics17- really hope your line turns into a positive, i remember one month in the past both of us having an unusally long af if my memory serves me right would be brilliant if you got a positive as well. will be watching out for the update..
qq- cant believe how happy it makes me just getting your bfp picture. Is that weird? Good luck on your IVF, will be keeping an eye out for news.
hi to all the newbies, hope your stay is short this is a brillaint place to ask any questions ( and no questions are tmi) a very knowledgable lot!0 -
AFM, another BFN this morning, but it is only CD12 I suppose. I had been hoping cleofish's good luck would rub off - is that silly! MrsHappy, I notice you are at the same time in the cycle, how are you feeling? I am getting strong AF symptoms now, particularly lower back pain and my traditional AF headache is hovering just on the edges... not quite there, but I can feel the tension starting.
I have given up SSing, it seems just to be stressful and pointless following the results of the SA's we have had doneI can't help hanging about on here and can't quite completely give up hope yet though! AF due on Wednesday, but I had a big temp dip this morning so it might appear tomorrow
Hello ladies,
May I join you? Month 2 of trying and fingers firmly crossed that we've got lucky. Currently coming to the predicted end of my fertile time, so hopeful but trying not to get too excited! There seems to be quite a few of you, so apologies if I don't get round to doing perosnal messages for a while!
Welcome, hope your stay is short and sweet

We had to hand in the SA about 2 weeks before the appt so that they could do whatever they do to it and the results were back for the appt, don't know if it's the same everywhere though0 -
I cant remember if I told you that my doctors who were supposed to refer me to the gynae on the 1st Feb by letter, didn't. It apparently 'went missing - but to be honest, I don't trust my practice.
Anyway - finally, I've chased, they faxed and I have an appointment, on the 30th May. It's soooooooooo far away
The lady I am seeing though is apparently the head of gynae at my hospital and also works privately so I am thrilled to be seeing her.
I am wishing time away though!
Hope everyone is having a lovely Monday! I don't start my job for 3 weeks, and DW and DS are going back to the States at the end of the month, so I wont know what to do with myself!Baby 2b born March 2013! :j:j:j0 -
Evening all!
Back from a lovely holiday. Been reading the thread whilst I was away but couldn't face trying to use the phone to post.
Welcome newbies, congrats to BFPs & hugs to all those having tough times - if you don't fall into any of these groups then I suppose  is a good enough message!
I am awaiting ov so hoping that the smiley face shows up on the OPK in the next couple of days. BD'd last night & the plan is for tomorrow then daily. Haven't shared this plan with OH - I'm sure he won't complain (well not until day 4 onwards!)
We have our GP appointment on Wednesday to get the results of SA. If the outcome is a FS referral I am considering just asking for a private referral to save time. At this time we haven't discussed/ considered options (if needed) but due to my age we wouldn't get IVF funded anyway. If the wait for an appointment is months, I would rather pay to get things moving.
Perhaps need to discuss with OH! We tend to deal with facts though, rather than speculate on several options so might need to wait until after the GP appt.0 -
Grr... finally remembered to go to superdrug to get the more sensitive tests, and I've left my silly wallet at work! Absolutely no way to pay...
plus the added bonus of worrying about my wallet sitting out in the open on my desk tempting the cleaners! On the positive side, I think my company have stopped cleaners to save money.
No test for me tomorrow then... countdown to AF on Wednesday.0 -
Hi all
I'll read back in a bit but just wanted to say I am CD3. Which somehow feels much less worse than CD1! I guess cos it's almost over now and i can think about trying again, even if it would be a December baby...
I am actually totally fine with it this month which is so different from the last few months, I'm glad to be feeling more normal about it. I've decided to try and enjoy DD more instead of constantly wishing for another baby. Obviously I do want another one, and I do want to be Pg before the last one would have been born in May, but it doesn't feel so urgent now for some reason.
Right, off to read back...:cool: DFW Nerd Club member 023...DFD 9.2.2007 :cool::heartpuls married 21 6 08 :A Angel babies' birth dates 3.10.08 * 4.3.11 * 11.11.11 * 17.3.12 * 2.7.12 :heart2: My live baby's birth date 22 7 09 :heart2: I'm due another baby at the end of July 2014! :j

I was at a kids theatre show on Saturday with my friend and her little boy, oh I so want to be able to go with my little one and not have to rely on friends to invite me to things like this
I have to make a decision by Friday what I am doing job wise so think I am going to test on Thursday night, I will only be CD25 but fingers, toes, arms well actually everything crossed
