Is there a particular flavour you're craving, or just the fluid ness? I'm a big believer that your body tells you what it needs through your cravings (bananas/liquorice = potassium etc) so maybe it's telling you to up your fluid intake to replace what you're losing...?

(I did write a long reply 10 mins ago, but when I pressed send, it closed the browser down!)

Nope laptop only got there today. Don't expect it back til next week now, unfortunately. But at least I should be going away for a long weekend this weekend, for our wedding anniversary, so maybe it'll return to me when I get back (with a BFP, naturally )

No hiding from you eh? we're ok (I think) got my booking in appointment tomorrow and my scan two weeks Monday. Kind of holding my breath until then (not literally ).

I know when you're pregnant and you crave ice it usually means you are lacking in iron. It might true for those who are not pregnant too and especially if you have had AF for so long now your iron levels could be low (again not medical advice just a theory I've come up with while I have my morning glass of orange juice :rotfl:)

As for the cysts, you can get rid of them (ovarian drilling), but it is a bit drastic, so not many people do that. Has she gained weight since the first scan? Just by losing 10% of her weight, ov can be kick started. All the cysts are follicles that geared up to ov, but couldn't. It disappears on its own, and you can get pg with the cysts.

A lot of people has PCOS, perhaps her mum has them? Most get pg and never get diagnosed. About 10% of women has them, but probably the number is a lot higher.

One always have LH, and it can get stronger and weaker in waves before ov, but if it is getting noticeably darker, you should test more frequently:) I tend to get +OPK at 11pm.
Emsbet, scan in two weeks! Time flies doesn't it? Any morning sickness?

Good morning ladies,

Well I was woken up by the cat wanting to come in the front door at 5.50am:eek: (he does have a catflap around the back, but he's lazy and couldn't be bothered to go around MIL's house and through the garden), and went for a wee on autopilot and completely forgot to do it in a cup.:doh: I don't think that I will have need to test today anyway though after spotting yesterday (I normally spot for 2 days before full AF), so will see how things go this afternoon - have just had a shower, so don't know if I'm still spotting today yet.:o

Mum just called to say she and my Dad are both poorly so not to come for dinner tonight, so I need to do a bit of shopping that I've been putting off all week (didn't want to go out in that weather) so that we've got something to eat tonight.

Pleased to hear you and bean are doing well emsbet - hope your scan goes well too.:D

Well I'm off to find something for breakfast that is light - went to bed with tummy ache last night, and woke up with it again this morning - I'm starting to think that maybe pasta doesn't agree with me. :eek:The peppermint tea helped a bit, but still got tummy ache.

Morning all,

I have decided to stop lurking and finally post!

OH and I have decided to try for a second baby - DS is 6 now and we feel the time is right.

As it's only the first month of trying, I am not expecting anything to happen straight away (I'd probably be quite freaked out if it did ) so at the moment, I'm just trying to eat as well as possible, I've quit smoking and am limiting my wine intake.

I'm currently on cd13 and think (although I might be wrong), I should be ovulating on Monday 12th, so nice weekend of BD'ing ahead

Congratulations to Skintchick - sounds like you had an epic day yesterday! :j
