Glad it went well Tinks. I was supposed to be having my first reflexology session today but my babysitter forgot and I had to cancel it as by the time I realised she was not just late there wasn't time for her to get to me and me then to get to the session. She did come in anyway and I decided to use the time to drop in to the local Chinese medicine place for advice. To my slight surprise, the doctor was free there and then and I ended up having a consultation and an acupuncture session. He's "diagnosis" is that my body hasn't recovered sufficiently from the miscarriage and this isn't helped by my digestive problems (I have ulcerative colitis) and he is suggesting I take a break for 3 months to get back in optimum health. I'm not all that keen on that idea given my age and OH's deadline that we had to conceive quickly or give up ( which isnt being discussed at the moment but could come up at any time). Anyway, I've booked another acupuncture session and ordered a months supply of herbs and will give it a go. The acupuncture was weird - a bit painful in parts - but I do feel fine now.

WOW. Impressive. I have lots of issues that were picked up on too. Relating to the Miscarriage in August and My body still being in shock from dd2 and the aftermath of having her by sunroof :o She did lots of work on putting me on the road to recovery. So it's a start. One step at a time.

I have always wondered about accupunture but the thought of it does freak me out :o

So glad it has helped you. I think anything that makes us feel better has to be a good thing. :)

    hi ladies :)

I am gutted but expected it at the same time, when we were meant to be BD OH was in a bad mood/tired/grumpy/busy.

On a +note it looks like a have a short cycle, this one was 26 days so need to get BD again when we can.

I've missed so much on this forum lol! Congrats to BFPs and welcome to newbies and returning posters!

PS. I get that botty pain too, had it today lol! Made me think of you all lol! :)

Oh well back to work it is. I could do with some major cheering up though...CD1/2 SUCKS!!!

Ladies, quick question- jacuzzis are meant to be avoided when ttc, is it just because of the temperature?
The gym has a hydrotherapy pool which I love and want ten minutes in there to be my reward for working out but don't want it to interfere with anything.
I'd say at most it's tepid, not much warmer than a swimming pool and has those beds with water jets which are sooo relaxing x x

Hugs for CD2 DundeeDiva. Fingers crossed you catch the egg this month.

TeamLowe - Use of jacuzzis are not recommended for pregnant ladies because of the high temperature, just like hot baths. I guess the same would apply for TTC ladies. I was on holiday when I was 8 weeks preg and there was a lovely outdoor jacuzzi. I compromised and sat on the side for 5 min at a time dangling my legs in :) I should think though, that a hydrotherapy pool will be slightly cooler. I hope so as DD is starting swimming lessons on Monday in a hydrotherapy pool so I'l be in one for 30 min every week. I will ask the teacher and see what she says.

Hugs for the rotten bleeding Fannyanna. Maybe you should go to the GP, even for reassurance that it's normal?

10dpo, I think, here. Resisting the teptation for some early testing but I have no ICs and too tight to get a chemist one so early on. AF could come anytime tomorrow onwards, so lets see what the next week brings :)

wow we had slipped off the first page then.
Nothing much going on, obviously Ov'd yesterday/today as have been feeling the cramps for the last couple of days, strange that you can tell what's going on with your body inside when you have a bit of info like knowing you are ovulating. Hope we dtd enough, couldn't have done it much more, poor OH is exhausted.
Remember never judge someone that makes a mistake, because in six months time it may be you that makes the next mistake.

Completely understandable fannyanna  hope it eases off really soon though :o

Team lowe, hydro therapy pools are supposed to be (or close to) normal body temperature, so should be fine, but I'm not sure about the jets...?

    Hi ladies!

Just dashing through, but wanted to send big (((hugs))) to bigz and fannyanna, hope AF/bleeding clears up soon. And (((hugs))) 2b, what horrible people! Take them for all they're worth! Also big congrats to scottishchick! Have a happy and healthy pregnancy :T

Just read a really interesting article on food and fertility http://www.thedailybeast.com/newsweek/2007/12/01/fat-carbs-and-the-science-of-conception.html, it's a few years old but almost everything it says has been corroborated elsewhere in things I've read. It's really comprehensive and even with all the research I've done into diet and fertility (pcos is a b!tch!) I still found some of it surprising. Anyway, hope it's helpful to someone out there :o

    Happy weekend everyone :j

    Evening all!

Just a quick 'hello' from me - have been feeling sorry for myself today as I have some sort of flu thing going on, fever, achy body, sore throat and head :( Feeling quite a lot better now after a day in front of crap tv though!

CONGRATULATIONS :j to scottishchick! Lovely to see another BFP :)

Big ((hugs)) to all those in need - sorry I can't remember everybody's posts, but thinking in particular of skintchick and fannyanna.

Bigzippy - well done on that weight loss, amazing!!

I watched OBEM and wept all the way through as usual... thought it was a really good episode this week.

CD42 for me now and still no sign of AF! Am managing not to stress about it too much, will just have to wait and see what happens.
