Fannyanna, are you going back to the docs? I'm sorry you're dealing with this again :( Have you managed to get anywhere with the rest of your TTC action plan?

My husband was worried about me yesterday and was trying to drag me to the doctors but I don't really see the point in going.

I have some tablets in the house that I can take if it all gets too much but having said that I want to give it time and see if this is just a really heavy AF before I cave in and take any tablets. I'm going to try and give it 2 weeks. If I'm still bleeding after that I know I have a problem and will have to go on the pill. Just hoping that doesn't happen.

I have my 6 month check up in a few weeks so whilst I'm there I'm going to tell the consultant that ever since the treatment I've had this problem. Don't get me wrong I'm relieved that I had pre-cancerous cells removed but there's a part of me that wishes I'd never had the treatment as I've had a nightmare with bleeding ever since.

As for TTC I'm trying to put it to the back of my mind again as I was really upset yesterday that I'd started gearing up towards starting again and seem to have been knocked back again. Plus hubby is still recovering from his operation. He's receovered a lot quicker this time and is already back at work but the operation was done last week and you have to wait a month before you even attempt to BD. But all is looking good for him so far.

AFM, AF's on the way out, if not left completely :j Thank God it's not been another hideous 3+wk bleed from hell :o

And I've lost another few pounds, so I've now ditched 8BMI points :D:j ...Which means that any pg would not be considered "high risk" now, and I'd be safe to have surgery (eg. a laparoscopy to see if I have endometriosis that runs in the family) :D Strange thing to be happy about, perhaps, but it's been on my mind for the last year or so that it's a possibility :o I'm losing slower than I'd like/targeted, but at least it's going. Better than nothing :)

I'm glad your bleeding is on the way out.

8 BMI point. Wow that really is absolutely brilliant  You must be feeling great.

((hugs)) fannyanna :( the bleeding sounds awful. I know you've bled heavily before, but it sounds to me like you should go and get checked out. Can your GP refer you back to the gynae (or can you contact him directly) to discuss this problem if you haven't already? It doesn't sound like the sort of thing you should leave til the 6 month check to me? Fingers crossed it's just a super heavy AF and your body is sorting itself out after your mega bleed.

Nicki thanks for the advice, I still have fertile looking CM (which I don't think is remains from last night's BD) so will keep going with the OPKs and BDing as planned. Hopefully tomorrow's temp will either look more sensible, or confirm ov :o

    Afternoon,

Hugs Fannyanna, hopefully the bleeding won't last too long. I had colposcopy and cells removed in 2007 but I can't remember anything extraordinary happening to me, def wasn't bleeding excessively.

ETA: Has anyone watched A Dad Is Born?

I did watch it as OH wasn't at home. The Hungarian guy made me feel sick at one point (when he was talking about how important it was for him that his wife cooked for him every day and than even more when he said he could get every women in his head:mad:), he represents the man I never ever want in my life. I grew up in Hungary and this attitude is so common there.

I expected more from this program tbh, it wasn't really good.

I'm 12DPO. Testing on Sunday. Officially. Of course unofficially I have been testing since Wed (waiting for QQ's reaction...):rotfl:.

Congratulations Scottishchick - Wishing you all the best for your pregnancy and life as a mother :)

Well done bigzippy on all those BMI points and their implications - hopefully your body is just waiting til it is at its best to make you the healthiest possible baby.

fannyanna (((hugs))) for the bleeding, fingers crossed it wont last too long. After my second op I had a really horrid period where all the blood that would normally come in a week arrived in about 8 hours, it was horrifying (I'm assuming that it was just beacuse they gave all my insides such a squeeze) hopefully its the same for you and tails off quickly.

sexymouse - how are you doing? good to see you still keeping an eye on us all :)

(((hugs)))) skintchick -be kind to yourself

I really enjoyed OBEM tonight, even my OH had a wee tear at the father crying, its nice to see how much he cares about all of this. I really hope I can make him a dad one day

Glad it went well Tinks. I was supposed to be having my first reflexology session today but my babysitter forgot and I had to cancel it as by the time I realised she was not just late there wasn't time for her to get to me and me then to get to the session. She did come in anyway and I decided to use the time to drop in to the local Chinese medicine place for advice. To my slight surprise, the doctor was free there and then and I ended up having a consultation and an acupuncture session. He's "diagnosis" is that my body hasn't recovered sufficiently from the miscarriage and this isn't helped by my digestive problems (I have ulcerative colitis) and he is suggesting I take a break for 3 months to get back in optimum health. I'm not all that keen on that idea given my age and OH's deadline that we had to conceive quickly or give up ( which isnt being discussed at the moment but could come up at any time). Anyway, I've booked another acupuncture session and ordered a months supply of herbs and will give it a go. The acupuncture was weird - a bit painful in parts - but I do feel fine now.
