Morning all, bigs hugs for Primmer. My SIL is going for her first scan in about 2/3 weeks and I'm already practicing my pleased and excited face, even though inside I'll be gutted! I went to my parent's on Friday for tea and she was there, eating a salad that she'd brought with her because she has to eat 'properly' and will only get her extra calories from nutritious food so now I've got the added worry that when I do get PG she's going to be judging me if I put more weight on that she does, or if I fail to eat my 5-a-day every day (which is likely as I don't like fruit or salad!), or if she catches me eating a second helping of chocolate cake!

Anyhoo, AF has left the building and we had a V-Day BD last night. OH made me laugh because he said that he's not used to going without for a week now... I'll have to remind him of that when he's complaining because I want to do it 3 times next week!

Hi Tinks. I have a 27/28 day cycle and I usually expect to see my smiley face on day 10 or day 11 to actually ovulate on day 12/13 (confirmed by temps). Hope that helps.

(((Hugs))) Primmer. When we first started trying last year, after work one night I took a test and got a BFN and was upset. About 10 minutes later SIL rang DH (which is not common). I just knew she was pregnant. So that set me off crying again. It just felt like a real kick in the teeth. We saw them a few days later and she showed me the scan pic. That was tough. So it is understandable you got upset.

Have a good cry in the loos at work if you feel the need. That's what I do. And don't worry about the other commuters, it's none of their business!

Well Fertility Friend has gone mad again and has put me back to ovulating on cd14 even though I am sure I have not ovulated yet. I am not having any ovulation symptoms at all this month.

Another year older as well today. Going to cinema and out for tea to celebrate.

Well I was right. The sore nipples and pain in my ovaries was an indication that AF was about to start.

I noticed extremely light spotting yesterday during the day and then in the evening there was more. Then I had an extremely weird and strong pain (in my womb I think) for a couple of minutes where I couldn't stand up and then when I was lying down I couldn't even move my legs. When it passed I went to the toilet and there was something there - like a clot but not bloody. This morning I have either heavy spotting or light flow (not really too sure at the moment lol).

I just hope that this is going to be a normal AF rather than a 4 month nightmare heavy bleed. I really can't deal with that again.

EDIT: I've now established it's not heavy spotting or light flow. It's definately medium/heavy flow. I don't have a good feeling about this :-(

Tinks - I normally ov around cd10 and have 25 to 27 day cycle. Yesterday day bding seems well timed if you a smiley face today.
