How long did you try for your 1st baby?

Remember one can ov 10-16 days before AF. If you could cover those dates (every other day?) and few days extra on each side, then you shouldn't need an OPK, but it's up to you:p

I came off the pill for my 1st baby and didn't have a natural period, just got pregnant straight away. Had kind of half expected / hoped for the same result this time.

We have been BD at the right sort of times, but no luck so far. I did test quite late when I was pregnant with my daughter, so if I get a BFN result I keep thinking back to then, but then AF keeps on arriving. Kind of dreading her arriving in a couple of days again if I am honest

I am a teeny tiny bit of a control freak so not liking the waiting game. Wouldn't be so bad if the time scale wasn't so long to wait in between time...

Have to say - I've never been able to distinguish EWCM from "leftovers"!

I just checked. Semen floats, ewcm sinks. HTH

Eta:

EWCM will ball up and sink, and semen will string, float and dissolve

I'd have a glass of wine zcrat, it is hardly going to cause any damage at this point. But then again I just love wine and will be so sad about having to give it up!

I really hope I never have to do the sink or swim test!

Thanks so much for all the well wishes you lovely people. I saw my doctor today and it's slowly starting to feel real. I got a big information pack about to read through.
