Twigglet, if it's leftovers it sinks, or if it's ew it floats, in water -or the other way round! :rotfl: ask qqz I always forget! :rotfl:

    Welcome abis

Qq, 3 nights running, so we're in with a chance! :D for a change :p

    Welcome Abis:wave:

How long did you try for your 1st baby?

Remember one can ov 10-16 days before AF. If you could cover those dates (every other day?) and few days extra on each side, then you shouldn't need an OPK, but it's up to you:p

    Thank you

I came off the pill for my 1st baby and didn't have a natural period, just got pregnant straight away. Had kind of half expected / hoped for the same result this time. :o

We have been BD at the right sort of times, but no luck so far. I did test quite late when I was pregnant with my daughter, so if I get a BFN result I keep thinking back to then, but then AF keeps on arriving. :( Kind of dreading her arriving in a couple of days again if I am honest :(

I am a teeny tiny bit of a control freak so not liking the waiting game. Wouldn't be so bad if the time scale wasn't so long to wait in between time...
 Married my lobster in July 2011

TTC # 2 since Oct 2011 - good things come to those who wait :o

 2013 is going to be our lucky year

I'm also wondering what this sink or swim test is?!

Have to say - I've never been able to distinguish EWCM from "leftovers"!

I just checked. Semen floats, ewcm sinks. HTH :D

    Eta:
EWCM will ball up and sink, and semen will string, float and dissolve

From each other! :rotfl: I've just been on here too long now ;) Reckon it's time for me to stop "learning" for a while ;) And I'm taking QQ with me :p(and some others, she was the first long-timer that sprang to mind ;))

It's amazing what you learn isn't it!

Now I'm out for a meal tonight in the middle of the 2WW - would you ladies have just a small glass of wine or would you be good an play it safe? Just wondering.

I'd have a glass of wine zcrat, it is hardly going to cause any damage at this point. :) But then again I just love wine and will be so sad about having to give it up!

I really hope I never have to do the sink or swim test! ;)
Overcome the notion that you must be ordinary. It robs you of the chance to be extraordinary!

  • Thanks so much for all the well wishes you lovely people. I saw my doctor today and it's slowly starting to feel real. I got a big information pack about to read through.

Just wanted to say farewell and wish everyone the best of luck. Hope you all get your bfp very soon. Thanks for being so supportive and helpful xx
