Oooo, am so glad to have joined here and read things that you other ladies are going through too!

I too have green eyed monster about other pregnancies and couldn't bring myself to comment on someone's 20 week scan of a girl on FB the other day.

And I too worry about drinking whilst TTC. Going out tonight to a quiz night at a pub and I was going to drive but another girl insisted, so now I have no 'excuse' - and I do normally like a drink or 3 so it will become a bit more obvious to others if I am not drinking. I don't particularly want to tell everyone else that we are TTC, cos I couldn't be doing with everyone 'waiting' for an announcement as it were. Decided to just have the 1 drink tonight I think and spin it out, lol!

And Mrsj28, I am the same with tests! Sometimes I congratulate myself on a morning for not taking a cup into the toilet with me to dip my stick in - but then about an hour later it starts to nag at me that I won't get the opportunity til until the next day, lol! I try to give myself 1 or 2 days break in between testing. I tested this morning, so I won't test now until sat or sunday which is when AF is due :o

Good news! The doctor just called to tell me that the results of my slapped cheek syndrome/parvovirus immunity test have come back that I've had a previous infection, but no current infection, so I don't have to worry about contact with children who I teach who may have it now, as I do have immunity to it. Phew!
Enjoy the little things, for one day you may look back and realize they were the big things.

Haha, I love all these little abbreviations! POAS habit :rotfl::rotfl:

I got 10 ICs to begin with thinking that'd do me til I was pregnant. I ordered another 15 and am half way through them now I think! Don't think my SS last cycle helped at all with my POAS habit! :o

My hubby just came home and I have just informed him that I am normal :rotfl: All you ladies seem to be doing / thinking the same as me.

Well I'm confused. I have open soft high cervix, definite ewcm (carried on through the day ;) haven't done the sink our swim test though, cos I can only seem to catch it on tp :o), other usual ov ss, but the opk I just tried was negative...?? is it cos ov is now, and the surge has passed, do we think?

Just popping in to update you...... I got my BFP this morning! OHs reaction was perfect - so excited and happy. I did a test in my lunch hour and found out by 1pm, but couldn't tell him till we got in from work at 615pm, and that was the longest six hours of my life!!

    Hi ladies

Without in any way wanting to cause offence, can I also give money puddle a little nudge and a smile :). You only started to try to conceive just over 2 weeks ago, sweetie. It would be physically impossible, even if you were both hyper fertile and timed everything perfectly, for you to have a confirmed pregnancy yet! I would put your pregnancy tests away for at least 10 days (and even that means you would be starting to test very early in your cycle) and keep trying to make a baby for the whole of that time in case you ovulate late on your first month off contraception. And definitely don't get stressed and upset yet. The phone lines are still open for you at the moment - the results show won't be on until after the news ;)

Congratulations moneypuddle. You are very blessed to have conceived in your first month ttc. Enjoy the rest of your pregnancy.
