BZ, no, the bleeding hasn't stopped but it eased yesterday. Well, till swimming. I still bled overnight and this morning but it seems it's the end of it now. Keeping my fingers cross.

And, no, I don't have much to lose, half a stone would be great. MY BMI is 22 but I have fat on me:o.
You're bound to lose weight slower when you've started lower to begin with. You'll get there if you're tenacious :) Glad your AF is easing off. Hope that's the end of it for oooh, 9-12months? :D

    Thanks Primmer :)

Glad you feel better Little Moog

Hope you feel better soon sexymouse. I think you were right to turn down work when you feel ropey and have to look after your bean on board :)

Bummer about the eggs QQ, but they did mature in the lab last time didn't they? Maybe these will too? I don't know how you can be without DH for so long. I sure couldn't do it. :o
Thanks for the announcement :D And I think it will be a shorter stay than 2weeks, particularly if it all goes textbook.

TeamLowe, my MIL always has to have the phlebos get the lines in, cos her veins are sneaky! Glad it's done with now though. And very sweet of DH :)

Claire, I hope the spot treatment does the job. Are you sticking around on here (you're more than welcome to obviously!) or going to to the WTTC thread?

MrsHappy - good luck with the SA result! Hope it'll be much more normal this time :D If he's taking it alone, get him to either put it down his pants, in his armpit, or in his pants pocket! ;)

What does your OH do to keep him away from home for so long? And how often does he come home? Just being nosey! :)
He had a great job offer abroad we couldn't refuse:money:
I didn't want to leave my job, so that's how it is at the moment. We'll be back together one of these days:o He doesn't come home much, but I go to him every 2-3 months:)

Yeah think its going to be the way to go.

I'd agree with the others not to go back on the pill. I had the same problem when I changed jobs. Both jobs had great mat leave benefits, but if I got pregnant in my notice period, or arrived pregnant, then I would get neither of them! So I took the pill for a month. I don't really feel like I am back to normal even now, any my cycle is suddenly much shorter.

So, I would strongly not recommend it!

Haven't read back, will do later:wave:

The egg collection (IVF) didn't go well, only got 4 immature eggs:o They couldn't get the egg from the lead egg sac, either it was never there, or it got missing:p

Anyway, I have to have a break next cycle as I have work, and the cycle after that as I have to be with MIL for her op, but am planning on returning very soon:cool:

Sorry to hear QQ. I always think of you when you are going for cycles and think - QQ could be pregnant almost right away! It will be amazing when it happens. Do you get a 2ww with IVF?

    Good evening girls
Ikkle - so sorry to hear such sad news, thinking of you
Zippy - you poor thing I hope your body sorts itself out very soon

I read all the posts then get to typing and I've forgot who said what, so hugs for those on AF and baby dust to all those who are OVing any time soon.

Congrats to the latest couple of BFPs, January is looking like a popular month to get pg!

I have a positive OPK this evening and DH should be home tomorrow late afternoon, guess what he will be doing before he has even unpacked his bags! There's a good chance we could catch that egg.
If at first you dont succeed, try, try again

Thanks ladies, got it in safely, I drove and we both took it in, must have looked ridiculous doing that silly looking fast walk through the hospital holding my wierdly shaped boob!:rotfl:I started rummaging for it as we approached the desk-not easy under several layers as it's freezing here today, the lady at the desk just raised her eyebrows and said "sample?" as I was sticking my hand down my bra. Now it's just a waiting game til our appointment on the 14th of Feb :o

We haven't got a date for the SA yet but the instructions are that it needs to be 'made' at the clinic.

It refers to 'magazines' being available - although you can take your own!

Partners are not allowed in the room.

Think OH would prefer to do it in the comfort of his own home & then do a dash with the sample!
  • Goodbye baby hopes.... Hello AF :( Long time, no see. 7 years in fact, pretty much!!!! And i have to say, i haven't missed you one frickin' iota!

But, as my very inspired and lovely hubby has just said "bad news - no baby at the moment, good news - all seems to be in good working order" ......!

I suppose that is the way to look at it... bit disappointed but i know i was being silly hoping i would have "caught" within the first month off the pill!

It seems funny that it is LITERALLY a month exactly since i stopped taking the pill... but i guess that isnt too long for things to get back to normal??? Does it seem MUCH longer than anyone else on here took to get their first AF after stopping contraception??

And i am also telling myself that this is a GOOD thing with regards to me worrying myself that things "down there" might not be working so well anymore - am i right? I mean, okay it has taken a month to get back to "normal", BUT surely AF arriving shows things are okay-ish still??
Baldrick, does it have to be this way? Our valued friendship ending with me cutting you up into strips and telling the prince that you walked over a very sharp cattle grid in an extremely heavy hat?
