So sorry about everything Ikkle, I second the suggestion to get signed off, can't believe that work are treating you that way!
I am lounging on the sofa with no plan to move from here for at least 3 hours, catching up on Got to Dance (my fave show at the moment, and have a MAD crush on Ashley Banjo, which is odd considering I am gay!)
Ha, that made me :rotfl:Obviously I couldn't sleep so tested again. BFN. So gutted, I was really convinced.
Thinking that whilst I'm off anyway I'll go doctors and see what they think. The pain in my boobs is worrying if its not a pg symptom. as is the extreme thirst.
Also i have a bit of a gammy eye so want to ask about that.
I'm still convinced I am really I think. Need doctor to tell me to stop being stupid
Oh well, fingers crossed for AF then x
Sorry about the BFN, it really does sound like you need to get looked over by the doctor
Looking good for the egg collection QQ! Hope it goes well! :cool:Overcome the notion that you must be ordinary. It robs you of the chance to be extraordinary!Goal Weight 140lb Starting Weight: 160lb Current Weight 145lb0 -
morning all

I can't remember the last time I was ill for so long. Woke up shivering with aching joints this morning, so dosed up on the paracetamol again
at least I only woke up 4 times with coughing fits last night, it's an improvement on the every 20 minutes of the previous 3 nights!
no cm this morning, and only a trace of ewcm yesterday morning, so I'm pretty sure I ovulated yesterday. Will keep an eye out for more signs just in case I've got it wrong though.
This should at least be helping my weightloss, I have no appetite at all
when I do manage to eat somehting it invariably makes me cough anyway. bleugh!
Ikkle, I can't believe your work is being so difficult at such an awful time
no suggestions to offer, but sending hugs.
Hugs to all that need them, I'm going to attempt a shower while i feel relatively ok.Little monkey born November 2012:jFroglet due March 2016

ikkle - I think the suggestion to get signed off is a really good idea. Work are being absolute @rses, and you just don't need anymore hassle right now. Hopefully your GP is a good one and will be able to help. Hope you and your OH are doing ok today, I guess we all process such bad news differently and it's taking him time to accept what's happening. Be kind to each other, and take care xx.0

LittleMoog - hope you feel better soon, there are some horrible bugs about and they seem to take ages to shift.
Cd5 today so waiting for ov which is normally about cd10. Lost
1.5 pounds on my diet this week do I am pleased with that, just got to keep losing each week now.
Hugs to all who need them and Ickle the idea of getting signed off by doctor sounds good and I hope you can sort something out with work either way.0 -
Ikkle, so sorry that you need to deal with work as well, pls go to your gp and ask to be signed off. Sending you hugs, hope MIL is not in much pain!
CD7 for me, high fertility on CBFM again but still bleeding. I'm so fed up, I could just cry. What is happening to my body? I have never had a period for over 5 days and it's not easing at all. OH is in a foul mood as well, his op is next week and is worried which I understand but I have been the 'strong' one in this relationship for the past 8 months (since medical problems started) and I really need him now. He is totally selfish and thinks I'm just making a fuss, his ocd is driving me mad at the moment, he had a rant about me not pushing the lid down on my shower gel last night. He will get a nasty surprise (and me after) when he sees that I left 2 vitamin tablets on kitchen counter (this is a big no for him!), he is the first one to arrive back home after work. Plus I woke up with a very stiff neck so feel phisically rubbish as well. Sorry, rant over.
I don't mind losing the prediction at this stage, that would mean we had more BFP and Operation Xmas and NY was a huge success!0 -
And OBEM was lovely yesterday, the lady with disabilities made me cry, she was so nice. And her husband was really sweet too, he really really cares of her and that made me feel warm inside. I was so impressed when he said they were getting a mother's help who would help his wife to fulfill her role as a mother, she is one lucky lady to have him.0

He was great wasn't he? His comment about getting someone to help her look after the baby, rather than someone to look after the baby themselves, was really lovely.
I was also welling up when she said she'd still have met him if she hadn't had her accident, that somehow she'd have met him however their lives had turned out.0 -

It was such a lovely episode which whilst it made me cry, I was just so happy for them as they really loved and understood each other.0 -

Huge hugs Kavics sometimes our bodies seem to have a big clear out and we bleed longer than normal but it is frustrating when you want to get on with ttc. On the bright side if reading is high you have not ov yet and so you still gave time yet.0 -
Hey everyone, I have a question I was wondering if anyone could answer please? Does having too much sex decrease your chances of falling pregnant? OH and I are TTC, and I've been having a nose about online, and it appears the consensus is just about every day, no longer than 2-3 days, and obv focussing when you are fertile. However one place I was reading said not to have sex more than once a day else it doesn't allow the sperm to replenish! Is that so?
I'd love to stay and join in but I'm a bit rubbish at keeping track of these things lol. Thanks x0
