Originally in his emails he said he was getting it for a friend. It wasn't until the last email that he told me that he was a sperm donor and it was actually for one of his recipients. I don't know why, but I was guessing that he'd be fairly young, but when he turned up he looked like he was in his late 40s. He's obviously just very fertile I guess. He had a very nice car too.

Hope all of your tests go well and that you get your BFP soon.

ETA: I just checked my emails, and he's written to me and said that he hopes we are successful in conceiving soon, and of course if we have problems with our sperm supplier, then I know where to find him. :eek:

I have asked my GP about short AF, she wasn't at all concerned about it, have just had the shortest ever AF-1 day of very light bleeding then a couple days of very light spotting, well, not even spotting, just a bit when I wiped (TMI-Sorry )

As usual I had lots to say when reading posts, but am having a forgetful moment, hugs for cd1's and anyone in need xx

:rotfl::rotfl:Do you think the having a nice car helps? If so I may look into that for mrhappy as he has my old car from when I got a new one :rotfl::rotfl:

I don't use OPKs, but I should have OVed over the weekend, so should I move from the waiting for OV list to the DPO list?

:rotfl:I was guessing that the amount he gets paid for donation (unless he has a well-paid everyday job instead) may have given him the ability to afford said car, although I may be completely wrong and he may be someone who kindly donates for free. Moon has just got home and said that if he has tests and his sperm is deemed ok, could he sell his? :eek:

hi all, thanks for the good wishes !


Had a horrible night last night, couldnt get to sleep and managed to drift off some time after 1am, only to wake again just before 4am & my ds2 came into our bed a little after 4am. He has an eye infection so is mega grumpy/clingy so we took ourselves off to the sofa to watch Harry Potter !

I forgot to test with fmu, but the comfortable cramps are turning into quite painful ones and Im pretty certain my foul mood is pmt rather than lack of sleep ! Also looking at the test now its dry its faint so im now not hopeful at all !

The last couple of cycles since september have been around 25 days so Im expecting af to arrive towards the weekend. Think I will hold off testing until then, I have another 2 18th birthday parties to work so will definately want a few (lots ) drinks after to un-wind (im STILL stewing about the one just gone :rotfl:)

If i can go down as testing friday QQ (or whoever is 'in charge' while she is away ) if AF isnt here before then.

Panicked myself over weekend when I Googled hormone imbalance and it started saying that it is the start of the menupause :eek:

I am only 34 years old and I don't think I am old enough to.

I had a panic about hitting menopause last year, im only 32 but have had periods since I was around 8 and there is a history of early menopause on my mums side. It was resolved by a blood test which showed I had a thyroid condition which was giving me the symptoms (hot flushes, night sweats, dry skin, weight gain, raging pmt and cramps that I had never had before, fuzzy brain/forgetfulness, sore throat - the list is endless)

The blood test can show if you are even at the 'start' of menopause, whilst its scary its worth doing.

Hope you get some answers anyway, thought my experience may help you a little and stop googling - its evil !!!!
