Need to talk to DH when he emerges from his pit - he's in my bad books as he got soooo drunk at his work do last night, missed the bus so I had to go all the way to the hotel to collect him, then we had to stop twice for him to vom on the way home. By the time I got him into bed it was 315

Hope you'll be back TTCing very soon:o

I tested with an IC this morning, and if I hadn't have had a positive on the digi yesterday I would have thought it was negative, there is just nothing there! Should I be worried?
It could have been a dodgy batch, can you get a proper test?

thanks everyone for those links on cm, will have a look this morning with a cup of tea when i have time.

Ive been using internet cheapies for opks that i got from ebay this month and i dont really have any idea if i even ov at all, it was quite comical trying to see if the line was as dark as the control line, does it change in the daylight, bathroom light, living room light, so no idea but i see some of you mentioning superdrug ones, is that for the opks? are they more relieable?

Congrats as well emsbet, its lovely to see people getting good news in bfps at the beginning of the year, especially with looking at the list hopefully it will rub off on all our us. Are there really at least 10 bfp's per month? must be something in the money saving water!

Thanks :) Yes there are usually between 8 and 12 BFPs I would say, each month.

Superdrug tests are the HPT not OPKs. Some people (me included) get on fine with the cheapies, others prefer the branded ones. Clear Blue do OPKs that have a smiley face for a positive so it takes the guess work out of it. There is also the CBFM (clear blue fertility moniter) which measures both estrogen and LH so give you a bit more warning for ov.

Hugs ikkle thats an awful way to start the year, I understand why you want it over!

Congrats to the BFPs I've missed.

I hope you don't mind, but I think I'm on my way back to join you. GP has booked me in at EPAU on Mon but I think I already know what it will say. Just couldn't manage more than a week away :o

Take it easy over the weekend, and fingers crossed for good news for you on Monday x

Ok so after going on and on about how I dont test early I may have buckled and tested this morning (13DPO) used an IC and a superdrug. Both BFPs. I'm happy but so so very scared. DH of course is also happy. The only thing we can do know is take each day as it comes. :o

    xx

Congratulations emsbet, it's only natural to be scared. Operation CC has worked, yay :)

ED904.jpg to T-Sil and emsbet. I'm so pleased for you both. Try to relax T-Sil - I'm sure everything will be fine and your new test will be a BFP too. emsbet I'm over the moon - I saw your BFP on QQ's list before I got to your post, and immediately scrolled down to see what I'd missed. I'm sure this will be your forever baby!

Massive hugs for dibdabb and ikkle. I shall be thinking of you both at this difficult time.

Hugs for CD1 mrsj, and hugs to littlemoog for BFN.

Well we had a lovely meal out last night, but I may have eaten a little too much. :o I asked Moon if we could BD today instead as I was so full that I was uncomfortable, so it'll be 3 days since we BD last. Oh well, hopefully the other 3 times will have been at the appropriate points in my cycle and will have caught the eggie anyway. Had some sort of periody type crampy twinges yesterday and the day before, so don't know if that's a good or a bad sign. I'm trying not to get my hopes up too much this cycle, as I'm seeing the New Year as a fresh start.

Hugs for anyone else who needs or wants them.

    sexymouse xx

ETA - I may have to persuade Moon that we need to go on a holiday to Chester if we're not successful this month. I'd be interested to know what the other towns were though too, as they only listed here and 2 others.
Enjoy the little things, for one day you may look back and realize they were the big things.
