I'm so sorry to hear your bad news ikkle
My FIL is also quite ill and OH finds it very hard to talk about it. I have found the best thing to do is to let him have his space and when he wants to talk he knows I am there. He will start talking about it at unusual times, but at least he does.
I have all the same worries as you....but you will get through it together for sure.

Morning ladies

Tested this morning, BFN, and I had a tiny bit of brown spotting as well, so I think I'm probably out as I normally spot for a day before AF

Need to talk to DH when he emerges from his pit - he's in my bad books as he got soooo drunk at his work do last night, missed the bus so I had to go all the way to the hotel to collect him, then we had to stop twice for him to vom on the way home. By the time I got him into bed it was 315 :eek:

Anyway, I think I'm heading back to the waiting to ttc board for a few more months, unless I can convince DH to officially start ttc now.

Fingers crossed for everyone else, i'll probably still be lurking

Morning all

I tested with an IC this morning, and if I hadn't have had a positive on the digi yesterday I would have thought it was negative, there is just nothing there! Should I be worried?
I bought them from amazon, maybe they are a dodgy batch or something, but they are supposed to be 10miu.

I think I might get some super drug ones later when I go into town.

I know I have to stop testing at some point, its just hard!

ICs can be dodgy sometimes. I think Nicki had a rubbish batch a while back.
Superdrug ones are much better. I tested until six weeks when I was of with Alex. I only stopped because I read that around that time your hormone levels become so high that you can start to get false negative because the test becomes overwhelmed.

Ok so after going on and on about how I dont test early I may have buckled and tested this morning (13DPO) used an IC and a superdrug. Both BFPs. I'm happy but so so very scared. DH of course is also happy. The only thing we can do know is take each day as it comes.

Thanks T-Sil, I'm not actually feeling too bad. I knew it was a slim chance as we weren't officially trying, just decided to go for it on my birthday which happened to be the day before ov! I'll be back in a few months time

I am looking forward to trying some of DH's wine delivery that arrived on Tuesday - he got laithwaites vouchers for Christmas and ordered a mystery reds case :beer: don't think that will be tonight though, I went in to see him (made him sleep in spare room:p) and he just groaned at me
