I'm hanging out at my family home waiting for the call to pick DH up from his work Christmas do. Everyone else has gone to bed, so just knitting/watching tv with our lovely cat
Got a first response test earlier, so planning to test again with fmu. DH wants me to wait a few days, but af is already lateI don't feel at all like af's on the way either, no cramping, no spots, only the sore boobs and they're way worse than normal.

It's just crap.
We found out today that my MIL has cancer. Her GP thought she had gall stones but no it's cancer. I think she's still in shock but my OH won't talk to me about it, he got angry and went for a rather erratic drive in the car to cool down so we then ended up arguing about his driving. Now he's just sat there playing xbox ignoring me and I'm scared. Like an idiot I googled and now i'm scared of what's going to happen to my MIL, I'm scared what's going to happen to OH cos I don't know how he will cope but most of all I'm scared that if he keeps me shut out we won't survive as a couple.

Oh honey I'm so sorry, you poor things. I'm sure he isn't meaning to shut you out but is just in shock and trying to process the news. Give him time and I'm sure he'll start to open up to you about it.
