Trying for a Baby Part 7

Hi everyone!

Congratulations to the BFP's! I would be stressing as well and probably crying haha

I live in Warrngton which is great for IKEA and I love it. It was great when we moved into our first place as it has all the basics.

Ive been feeling rough the last 4-5 days. I think it may be because Ive just gone back to work and it has knackered me out. I have had stomach aches on and off, headches and slightly sore boobs (sorry for ss-ing). I am so tired and I have to stay awake till 12 tonite as i stupidly volunteered to pick the OH up from the train station as he has been out watchin the football and drinking! Gutted

Im steeling some of those hugs everyone is offering!

Can I ask everyone do people know you are trying? like parents etc?

cmills, everyone knows we are trying but it's hard to disguise as we had 2 miscarriages last year so it is obvious we are trying. But before the losses, only a few close friends and family knew.

Everyone knows we are because we'd already told everyone I was pg before I had my second mc.

It actually stops all the "when are you going to have kids?" questions.

I used to volunteer to pick up DH sometimes from nights out, but I just tell him to get a taxi now or stay at a mates because I regret it the instant I sit down on the sofa when I get back from work :rotfl:


I havent told anyone apart from my SIL as we are quite close and shes desperate for a playmate for our niece. She asked me outright though after months of hinting at the question and me getting around it, so i couldnt lie :rotfl:

DH has told, his best mate, his brother, random people at his work - which is a massive centre of gossip, and some of his clients. So yeah just a few there :rotfl: In some ways it wasnt that much 'news' to them though as we got married in April so I guess everyone starts to wonder then. It was slightly embarrassing though when we went to someones leaving do, and this one lady who has been ttc for a while, said to my DH he mnight want to cover his ears, and then said something along the lines of 'just so you know Claire youre most fertile when your lady juices are like really wet.' DH looked like he wantd to run out the room lol. I just smiled and was like UH thanks... and thinking, yeah I know and its called EWCM and Im doing opks already!

Im not telling any of my friends or family. Apparently though the other day DH told me he had a convo in the car with my Dad the other week, and they must have got onto the subject of babies, and my Dad said 'No sex until January' because he thinks we should try to plan to have a baby who is oldest in the class and not born in the summer. DH thought it was funny, I was so embarassed! Anyway so he must guess we are thinking about that type of thing.

skintchick sorry for the reminder. It's killing me not telling my parents as we are close but I want them to have a little bit of a shock if we do get pregnant. So needs must

No need to apologise. EVery day is a reminder anyway. But all I can do is keep trying, keep hoping, keep on keeping on.

Your parents will still get a thrill when you tell them even if they know you are TTC, I know mine do.

A couple of ladies at my shop know I'm trying. The bloke doesn't & the 60 year olds don't :rotfl: My mother knows we're thinking about it, but I dont think she realises that we're trying iyswim, & my two best friends........ And the local karaoke man's dad:rotfl:. That's all that know (I think). :think: I'm not very good at secrets thinking about it :think:
