Hullo all and a very happy new year to you all.
Feeling knackered still from New Year as was manic on the bar, and hardly any of them were our normal drinkers, infact they were making our normal drinkers very uncomfortable and annoyed. Most of the people were from one of the other pubs in the village who closed earlier to avoid problems, and as all of the other ones were ticket only, we ended up with them. Not happy at all as they decided they would thank us for our hard work by ripping up our xmas decorations. I'm still cleaning bits of tinsel up tonight.
Feeling strangely happy with my life at the moment, but in the most wrong way. Found out one of OH's friends in his cricket team's son died a few days ago of Leukemia. They didn't even know he was ill (the family) they took him to hospital one day just after xmas as he felt a bit ill, the day later he was dead, he was only 14. I really don't know how they are coping. I've had a miscarriage in the past and it really seems insignificant in comparison to losing a 14 year old in that way, so sudden.Remember never judge someone that makes a mistake, because in six months time it may be you that makes the next mistake.0 -

That's so sad. The poor family.
 at the drunken new year idiots! Why do some people only have fun when they are spoiling it for others?!

That's horrific Vesper, I didn't know Leukaemia could do that.

I didn't know either. I know it can be fast, but surely they would notice something was wrong with him, but supposedly they didn't. It must be awful for them, knowing that their son was dying xmas day and no one had any idea. He was a lovely kid, I've watched him grow up.Remember never judge someone that makes a mistake, because in six months time it may be you that makes the next mistake.0

Morning,
Congratulations TheNextVerse!
Feeling rather positive today though not liking the weather for my 30min bike ride, yuk for the wind! I usually test 2 days before my period is due:o and carry on testing till I have my period which usually is bang on. This time I determined not to test till at least Sunday but we shall see:D.0 -
Morning all.
Got a + on early response OPK today (almost + yesterday).
We BD'd last night & this morning.
OH now away with work - otherwise I would be planning it for tonight too!
I could go & 'see him' tonight. However (with my sensible head on), it's a 4 hour round trip & we have BD'd every day for the last 5 so I think we have done it a lot during this key time. I know this doesn't guarantee success (otherwise we would all be pg) but hopefully it has been well timed.
Good luck to all those testing this week.0
