    Morning ladybugs!

Welcome dundeediva. Hope you come out of lurkdom more often now you've been brave enough to post. It's always nice to have a new member of the thread.

Bigmomma I felt exactly the same about coming off the pill and having unprotected BD (babydancing - sex). I was always terrified of the possibility of becoming pregnant during my teens etc, so actively trying to felt really naughty. As QQ and others have said, don't be afraid to ask questions - I asked loads when I first joined, and still ask questions sometimes, and I've been here for 10 months now.

Fingers crossed Elelyn. Hope it turns into a BFP.

Get well soon wishes to 2b and your DW and family. I too would be interested in reading your blog if it is public.

Well it is another high on the CBFM today, and Moon and I are due to BD today as we didn't yesterday. We're sticking to the every other day tactic this month.

We went out to dinner at a friend's house last night, and I had Arctic Char fish for the first time (it is a cross between trout and salmon). I'm not sure that I'd want it again - it was a bit bland and repeated on me terribly - I even got hiccups for about half an hour, much to the amusement of the children (I tend to squeak when I hiccup). Still, it probably did me good, and was reasonably healthy (omega oils etc), although I think the apple strudle and later on the strawberry gateaux probably negated the healthy factor of the main course. ;) We had a very late night last night as it was around midnight before we got home, so I had a little lie-in this morning. Moon and I are off for a walk into town when I've had breakfast, as the weather is really nice here today.

Hugs for all who want or need them,

    sexymouse xx

The back to work thing is always rubbish after Christmas. I get up a similar time (6:15) and I hate it when it's all dark and gloomy. I'm not one for doing ironing, intend to do it as and when I need things but I did iron 20 shirts for DH to wear for work so that's January's work clothes for him taken care of ;)

Ooooo! Bootcamp that sounds interesting :)

Its just the tampax brand so far, but not sure I want to risk trying another brand, my af has left the building now and hopefully i either get a bfp instead of AF or the mooncup will be here.

With the tampax i get like a burning itching sensation where they are touching the wall, it feels like they are absorbing all the healthy moisture from the wall so when i come to remove the tampon its like rubbing sand paper down my insides, once the tampon is out the itching and burning stops almost straight away.
You never know how strong you are until being strong is the only choice you have.

Morning all & welcome to the newbies.

Peak on CBFM for me today. Have also been doing First Response OPK (as I had a couple of months with no peak so wanted to understand a bit more about what was happening).

The test line on First Response is almost as dark as the control line today too - so I'll take it that ov is nearly with me.

DTD last night & will try again later today & in the morning. OH is then away for a few days with work - but don't think this will be a problem if peak is today? Hopefully BDing will be successful.

    Q - 9 for my prediction please!

For those still off work - enjoy.
  • I'll predict 12 this month because of the extra Christmas & New Year bding!!

Just back from long walk with dog and DH, lovely and sunny here but wind is cold. Feel hungry as didnt have breakfast before we left so think we will have an early lunch!
