Trying for a Baby Part 7

Thanks everyone. I haven't done a digi yet but DH has been and bought one so will do it tomorrow morning. Hopefully then it might sink in - I have been doing ICs since AF was due but nothing, but have been feeling strange and still no AF so did a Boots own this morning and got the faintest line... So called for a first response on way home and got a proper line. So don't trust the ICs!!!0

Congratulations DibDabb.
Still feeling really ill at the moment but know that I have to go back to work tomorrow night, there's no choice in the mater, OH is the DJ for the night and its going to be really busy. I did admittably go out earlier and it seems to have wiped me out, and that was only to go and get some raffle prizes for work's xmas squares, got some fantastic stuff for it and got £185 worth of prizes for £85.Remember never judge someone that makes a mistake, because in six months time it may be you that makes the next mistake.0 -
Congratulations Dibdabb!! That's great news.
Talking about what men take, I got some Wellman tablets for OH - they have the same amount of zinc in them as the male Pregnacare but lots of other stuff too, and he takes one a day like i do, but moans like billyo saying they are too big. They are the same size as mine!
I am confused today. Last night and today I have had some EWCM but I am CD20 and thought I Ovd over Christmas. We didn;t DTD last night as it was gone midnight when we went to bed and I saw it, but will do tonight just to be sure. I think it isn't, but wonder if my cycles are up the creek at the moment? The last pregnancy got to 10 weeks, so maybe it takes a while to settle down after that? My others were earlier and I got back to normal immediately.
On losing weight, Good Housekeeping or Prima, not sure which, has a diet in this month where you diet for 2 days a week, drinking loads of milk (or eating cottage cheese instead) and having 650 calories, mostly from veg, then the other days you have 1800 calories. It is backed up by research and looks really doable.
Hugs for QQ, Tink and anyone else who needs them. xxx:cool: DFW Nerd Club member 023...DFD 9.2.2007 :cool::heartpuls married 21 6 08 :A Angel babies' birth dates 3.10.08 * 4.3.11 * 11.11.11 * 17.3.12 * 2.7.12 :heart2: My live baby's birth date 22 7 09 :heart2: I'm due another baby at the end of July 2014! :j

Oh thanks for that skintchick. I subscribe to GH so will check if it is on it when I get home.
CBFM high again this morning, and we did manage to dtd quietly early in the morning before anyone was awake (I hope!). I remembered to do an OPK this afternoon ( forgot yesterday) which was negative, so I wonder whether I will actually ovulate on NYE as I predicted. Will keep testing to see. Am now slightly regretting the decision not to temp as it would be nice to pinpoint it.
Parents are driving me a bit bonkers. Mum keeps suggesting lots of trips out to far flung places and I am tired, am not enjoying all the driving in the minibus, and would just like to chill out for a while. There is no way she could afford to pay for or even contribute to the damage she did and I wouldn't even ask her. She and my dad are on a small occupational pension and the state pension, whereas my OH earns a good salary. That being said though as I am a SAHM, even though he never begrudged me money, I do feel bad that he is effectively going to be the one taking the hit for this. We usually help them out with any little bits and pieces we can see they need when we visit, and this time, they have broken the cold water tap in the kitchen which usually he would have called a plumber out and paid for without a second thought, but he doesn't want to do it this time and I can't say I really blame him. If you add the £800 to the costs we've already paid for flights and hire car, we could have had a week somewhere nice in the sun for the whole family, rather than what has been a pretty miserable trip all round.0 -
I think it was GH but I saw it at my mum's so it might have been Prima. THe ladies in the article all lost loads of weight easily on it, and found it easy to do as it's only two days a week. DFW Nerd Club member 023...DFD 9.2.2007 :heartpuls married 21 6 08 :A Angel babies' birth dates 3.10.08 * 4.3.11 * 11.11.11 * 17.3.12 * 2.7.12 :heart2: My live baby's birth date 22 7 09 :heart2: I'm due another baby at the end of July 2014! :j

Me and my hubby had "the talk" yesterday.... he is so hard to get a serious answer from and although we have spoken about having a baby and he has said yes, he has never convinced me lol but again thats cos he is such a joker! But yesterday i explained that due to having only one ovary (other removed aged 13yrs due to ruptured cyst on it) and that remaining ovary having cysts on it (also have polycystic kidneys - i am a very cysty person lol) i am worried about leaving things too late. I already have a 7yr old son from a previous relationship and have been with my hubby since my little boy was 18months. We have kept waiting for the "right" time... and it has recently dawned on me that there is NEVER a right time at all and it scared me! I am 29yrs (30 in november 2012 eeeeek!!) and he is 33yrs.
I am worried at the moment cos i have heard horror stories about people who have tried to conceive after being on Cerazette ( i have been on this since birth of my son so about 6yrs or so) - i never bleed on it (maybe once or twice in all that time) tho i am told this is normal? I have had to be on cerazette as i cannot have oestrogen due to having an embolism after c-section with my son. I am also wondering if i should be taking any vitamins (folic acid i know about) to help the process and ready my body. If sounds stupid but i am overweight and i am a BIT worried that if i go to docs to ask their advice generally that they will tell me off for trying when i should lose weight first etc. But then they were the ones who told me i shouldnt leave it too late as i would never be one of those ladies who has a baby aged 38 etc etc.....:cool:
I didnt take my pill last night..... on purpose! Eeeeeeek..... i am SO sensible and i know i need to relax and stop being practical and stressing about work, house etc lol
HI Bigmomma,
I was on Cerazette with no bleeding for 3 years. I stopped at the start of august and had a small withdrawal bleed about 6 days later which lasted 2-3 days, very light and "old" brown blood. My periods started properly at the start of October, 4-5 days of proper bleeding like I used to get. When I spoke to the GP about stopping he said it could take up to a year for cycle to return to normal, but after my first long cycle of 56 days, the next two were 31 and 30.
I'm not temping or anything yet, but going by EWCM I'm pretty sure I ovulated in the last 2 cycles, as it was 11-12 days before AF started, and this one has been the same so far.Little monkey born November 2012:jFroglet due March 20160 -

Hi, All
Sorry for not namechecking, haven't been on for a few days and there is so much to catch up on! Hello and welcome to the newcomers.
Am having a nice week between Christmas and NY: I love Christmas, and wish it lasted longer, but it's nice having DH home from work for a nice stretch, so that's good.
Going to have a nice quiet NYE just staying in, I don't miss my partying days at all! <old gimmer!>
Hope you all have a brilliant time wherever you are.:starmod:I'm a SAHM to a smiley snuggly adventurous cheeky bundle of b:male:y b.Oct10. :j
We're a vegan family. We do cloth nappies/wipes, dabble with ECing, use toiletries without parabens/SLS etc, co-sleep, baby-wear, BF, BLW, eco-ball laundry, and we plan to home educate (ideally not at home too much - we want to travel the globe).:starmod:0 -
Morning all,
Got a high on CBFM today (CD9), and told Moon - he was ready to DTD there and then, but I've got a hairdresser's appointment this morning, and don't want to be sitting there and leaking.I'd say he's definitely up for it tonight. I'm not going to tell him when I get my peak this cycle (so as not to put him off his game), and we're just going to BD every other day all cycle. This is good news for him, as it means we will BD on his birthday (January 4th) as well as me taking him out for dinner (mystery dining).
I said to Moon last night, that hopefully today will mean, new haircut, New Year, and a new baby being conceived.
Hugs for all whom the witch has got, or for those feeling low today.
