Trying for a Baby Part 7

I don't even get notifications to my email account from Fb anymore, I think you have to specifically opt in now. So maybe it's not as bad as you think, and hardly anyone, if any, saw it
Sorry I'm a bit late in the day but SD I was going to say this ^^ I really don't think people get notifications from fb now unless you tag them in the comment you post. I used to get millions of messages every time someone so much as glanced in the direction of my page and now I only seem to get ones where I'm tagged. They may get a notification saying "SD has commented on your post" on their actual fb page but I think that's unlikely too as I believe fb retrieves notifications regarding deleted comments.
Like others have said try not to worry about it too much and don't let it spoil your Christmas. Easier said than done I know. I've done silly things before (usually when drunk) and have spent days kicking myself about it (I do like to mentally torment myself from time to time) and then it's turned out either people didn't think it was that big a deal or no one actually noticed and I'd be annoyed that I'd wasted my time worrying.
AFM I don't think I've ov'd yet, I think it may be today sometime. I had quite a strong line on yesterday afternoon's OPK but not quite positive. I wanted to BD last night but I got a little tipsy and I was kind of falling asleep while we were trying to DTD and this was the conversation we had
DH "you're falling asleep"
Me "no I'm not. I was just kissing you so how can I be asleep?!"
DH "you weren't kissing me you were asleep!"
Me: "Oh sorry, I'm awake now though so lets carry on."
DH "I'm not having s*x with you if you can't stay awake"
So he said it would have to wait until morning.so here I am waiting to wake him up. I'm just hoping we won't have missed the eggie. I usually like to DTD the day before, of and after ov but I guess the day before the day before will have to do. I had a small temp rise today 0.14 which I hope was down to the alcohol consumption and dry mouth rather than ov.
So last night was night one of having to be out with the pg ladies. It went ok but as you may have already gathered I got a bit tipsy. Nerves make me drink more than I should and I couldn't help it. Only one of the pg ladies was out and I chatted to her quite a bit. She's only got four weeks left so obviously people were talking about it quite a bit. I made one of my friends cry telling her that I was still down about the mcbut I don't think (I hope) I didn't bang on about it to too many people
Anyway I've gone on too much now and this has turned into an epic post.
Good luck today flee

Sorry for laughing at that Emsbet, I once tried to get it on with mrhappy the day after I had had major surgery, he wasn't amused and told me to get lost, just as well really as I then spent most of the night being sick and crying-nothing to do with him of course, must have been the general anaesthetic less than 24 hours previously and the pain!
Glad your night out went as okay as it could
thanks for replies about ov'ing at CD10, this is only my 2nd month of temping, so I'm still getting used to it. I had planned on doing my temps at half 6 as normal even though I've been off work/had slightly later starts the last couple of weeks, but I haven't been bothering!0 -
Hmm, I'm wondering whether the extra jammies and big winter duvet is contributing to your higher temperature, rather than having ov'd yet? I would either check with OPKs/CM/cervix position or keep bd'ing (maybe every couple of days for another few days), especially if you think it's unusual for you...? People can and do ov on CD10 (and before) perfectly naturally/normally, but if it's unusual for you, and you're going purely off temps - the circumstances around which have changed just recently - I would be wary of stopping BD too soon
ETA: It looks like you do normally ov around CD12 so it is possible you already have, and I see you've kept up BD in any case
Thanks, I have been checking CM, and kind of aware of cervix position (I have noticed that around ov some positions are a bit uncomfortable to BD, another strange thing I had never thought about before ttc) BDing is fairly consistent throughout the month-it's nice to do it for fun as well0 -

Not sure whether I will have time to read later today so just wanted to say Merry Christmas to everyone and hope that everyone especially those with recent losses have a good day tomorrow.
CD6 for me today, and CBFM asked for first stick which was low as expected. I am due, I think to ovulate on 31 December, which would be fine except we are staying with my parents from 27 to 31 December so we will need to dtd in their house in our very narrow twin beds they insist in putting us in when we stay . Which would be bad anyway, but worse because our last child was born at the end of September and my 82 year old mother asked whether he had been conceived while we were visiting her over Christmas, so she is still able to do the math even at her advanced age :rotfl:
Waitrose groceries have just been delivered, and amazingly everything fits in the fridge . Had a mammoth baking day yesterday and my biscuit tins are all stuffed with home made cookies (as are my children, who keep "quality controlling" them before the grandparents get here) and have homemade bread on the side. Just need to buy DD's present (some fish and a fishtank so we have left it to the last minute to keep surprise for as long as we can), wrap all the presents tonight, and prep the vegetables for tomorrow. Will also send DH round with the vaccuum cleaner last thing so the house looks presentable for the inlaws when they arrive first thing tomorrow morning.
Fxd for BFPs for everyone in the New Year. And extra special good luck to those on operation CC or NYEC.0 -
Merry Christmas to you too Nicki. I hope the day is as kind as can be for you and everyone else here.
:rotfl: at you mum

Come on Flee - I'm on tenterhooks waiting for the results. Hope you've got your BFP and you're so busy celebrating that you've not logged in yet. Wasn't there someone else who was also testing today or tomorrow? *goes back to look* Fingers crossed. There was no point me testing as I was CD1 yesterday.
Hope you're feeling a bit better this morning secretdebts.
Hugs to all who need or want them.

secretdebts - I would be stressing too but like others have said I wonder whether people will actually receive an email. Is there anyone who may have received it that you trust enough to ask them about it. I guess that way you could find out whether people were notified or not x x0
