The Helter Skelter looked ace and retro, but we just had a couple of rides on the Carousel, DS is only 14 months, and at £3 a pop, it is not cheap! :money: Going to start saving NOW for next year, when he will probably be all That ride, again, more!

Yeah the same thing happened when we took our nephew to legoland and in order for him to go on the more complicated driving test thing, his parents told him for a week to practise saying he was 7. He was 5 at the time, about to turn 6. Well when we got there they realised it was far too complicated for him and got him in the queue for the 6 and under ride. The man said how old are you? So of course he said 7 :rotfl: Luckily my BIL managed to gloss over it and they let him on! Poor kid must have been confused!

Yeah I saw the helter skelter too. But like you said the prices werent cheap so after paying £3 to go on the big slide, and my niece went on this reindeer thing we had a walk about and then left as we wanted to get down to Trafalgar square and some other places.

    Hello everyone,

Me and my husband have been TTC since July when I came off the pill, 6 months later and still no AF  no symptoms either apart from rattyness, but I guess that is only because it has not arrived. Anyone in the same boat? I could do with any advice or help as my doctor just said "come back in 6 months" I'm 27, have done everything right (for me! - got married, brought house, got good job) now when the only thing I can't control doesn't go right it gets annoying. I have been putting it out of my mine, thowing myself into work / being a good wife and being happy, but when my goal was to have a bun in the oven for xmas now I am getting sad :(

    Monkie

I feel the same regarding the out of control thing, although luckily my AF did come back after 6 weeks and has kept coming somewhat 'normally'. My cycles got shorter to a point where I was thinking great Im 'normal' now, until last month when it weirdly got longer. And seems to be possibly doing the same again now. Very frustrating. I came off it 6 months ago too.

I dont think for me its the pill though. I never had a 28 day cycle before I went on it. Ive always had irregular periods - well irregular as in roughly every 5-6 weeks. Not wildly irregular.

I think if the next couple of cycles are long Im going to go to the doctor because Ive been off it about 6-7 months now. And like I said I dont think its anything to do with the pill, but at least at 7-8 months gone, they cant tell me to come back later!

I would definitely try going back to a different doctor. Ive had some silly ones in the past.

    :) Bless him! :)

They were extortionate! They must make an utter fortune, and not have to work the rest of the year! I saw a reindeer ride, looked fab! I :heart: Christmas! :xmastree::rudolf::santa2::snow_laug:snow_grin

  • Hi guys,

Totally meant to post earlier in the week when AF rocked up just been having that mad last few days Christmas rush to get everything done.

Anyway she showed on Monday so on CD 5 please QQ, also means she'll hopefully b@gger off tomorrow and operation "officially TTC" can commence.

I know I'm still very new here- well posting but have been hanging about like a bad smell for a year!) but just wanted to share some news I got today. Had posted back in may on the WTTC thread that my head was a bit messed up with the whole baby thing as we'd just been thinking about going for #2 (DD is 7) but that my BF had had a baby girl born sleeping at 41 wks. Anyway she's just had an absolute year of it and just about to be referred for fertility checks is the new year.

I'm thinking her angel (and her dad as she lost him while pg) knew exactly what to send her and her partner for Christmas as she got her BFP today. I am so so so so happy for them and just think it's the most perfect time to happen so close to Christmas.

So basically I've had a massive baby inspired smile all day and am even more excited to start TTC!!!!

Loads of sticky Christmas baby dust to all!!!!

Erm, I had a rest and stretch, a hot water bottle on my spine, a shower, got DH to tidy up some (it was stressing me out! :o), had a painkiller (a little naughty, but the stress and pain would probably have been more dangerous! :o) and rearranged where I sat on the couch... I'm still struggling, but in a little better frame of mind now I'm clean etc

    Why so little sleep? :(

I've got loads of EW/CM atm, but no movement on the OPKs and it's irritating me! :p
