Groupon - Pearl National Teeth Whitening SCAM!

Hello all, just wanted everyone to know that the Groupon voucher I purchased recently for Teeth Whitening at Pearl National turned out to be a scam. I have tried repeatedly to contact the company Pearl National via phone calls and e-mails with no luck.
Hope this helps other people - I'm currently trying my best to get a refund. Really disgusted with Groupon now. I won't use their services ever again.

Hi,
That's awful and so unlike a company like them.
If you contact Groupon they should be able to give you a refund! I recently purchased a groupon voucher for wine and the wine companys manager was a absolute A$$ so I emailed Groupon asking for a refund nad got one the next day.
HTH x0 -
to be fair to groupon, it's not their fault if the company cannot handle the volume or whatever. If you dont use their services because of this, you might miss out on the many decent bargains which are to be had.0

Oh no, I've just received my voucher for this as well. Wondered why I couldn't get through...
It cost £69 - are Groupon generally good at refunding for fraudulent transactions?0 -

Hi OP what makes you think it is a scam apart from the fact you can't get through? The reason I ask is that I went for my appointment on Saturday in Nottingham and there was nobody from Pearl National there, just staff from another company in the shared building who although apologetic were not responsible for Pearl National. I emailed Groupon for a refund first thing on Monday morning with no reponse so far.0

No offence but the 1st sentence of your post seems like you dont think its a scam and the rest suggests you do im confused :think:Everyone who thanks me when ive helped will get a 5% share when I win this weeks Euromillions......:p0 -
So potentially this means that Groupon knew there were concerns about Pearl National being a scam on Monday, yet they still let other people (including me) buy on Wednesday. Disgusting. I've emailed Groupon but still awaiting refund - will ring them on Friday if still no response by then.0

It's still one of the deals of the day for my area. Very worrying.0

I don't know if it's a scam or not all I know is that I turned up to my appointment and there was nobody there. Still waiting 4 days later for Groupon to reply to me.0 -
