I was wondering if anyone had read any decent books on improving self esteem and self worth? If anyone could recommend one, I'd be grateful :) I've got 20 books on my to read pile, but none of them are self help ones, I've just got funny books :D

Got lots of good ones "Never push when it says pull", "Is it just me or is everything !!!!!" and stuff like that :) Also got alot of OH's general knowledge ones to read: "Why don't penguins feet freeze?" and the QI one. I've also got a stack of New Scientist mags to read, I've been being really lazy will them and only reading my favourite bits - thats no way to learn! OH is also trying to persuade me to learn to program too, he seems to think it'd be dead easy for me to just read one of his books and bam, I'd be as good a programmer as him - I think not!
I got what I needed from pharmacy, but still feeling rotten :(

New Scientist is a really well put together mag. They've piled on circulation after relaunching a while back with a slight change of editorial focus and they never looked back. LOL - I did a really basic programming course via the OU last year - for some reason thought it might be a good idea - but boy did I struggle with it. I don't think I've got the right kind of brain for programming.... let me rephrase that - I don't have a brain fullstop!!:D

Why you not doing good today hun? Sxx

OH just thinks that programming is really easy as he is self taught - and I think he wants me to learn so that I can do some of his overtime for him! He's work through lunch everyday this week, and he is working weekends too. 12 hour days are no fun.
I've been reading New Scientist for about 2 years now, OH reads all the physics type articles, and I read the anthropological and health ones - so we never are able to discuss things hehe.

I'm not good today for a lot of reasons, but I'll get over it, always do :)
