Yeah, I'm off on saturday and I just know I'll wake at 6 and feel like checking the internet and end up getting up (then probably go back to sleep) actually I think the one thing that gets me out of bed the most is post, I love getting post and check it every time I hear something, I was lucky today got some iron on embroidery patterns and some free plasticine thing. Most of the time though I end up with nothing, (I leave all the post that isn't for me as I found it on the floor, does that make me a bad person :) ) I love morning sleep though. I find an excuse for my boyfriend to get out the bed when he stays over so I can have it all to myself (is a single bed to be fair and morning sleep means sprawling a little)

I stay up late coz I am not sleepy when I go to bed and lying there makes me think too much and then I can't sleep for worrying/thinking too much. I have to do the school run 5 days a week and then work nights at the weekend so I forgot what a lie-in was soooo long ago. No OH and two kids and I am depressed coz I am worn out!!

NTL have cocked up big time, the CSA are clueless, I've just lost some work (Self-employed) so my income has plummeted, oh there is so much more!!!

I'd gladly kill for a kip during the day! :(

    Rant over

The school run made me really tired and fed up, so know what you mean. I was lucky and didn't have to work but my OH was working away. It is difficult.

I used to nap when I could.

    Hi ccstar!!

DS gets 2 and a half hours at nursery everyday so I should really try and nap then but I get back and loads of housework needs doing etc so I never quite get there!!

He has no contact with his father so I feel like I never get a break. I sigh a breath of relief when he goes to bed which sounds awful but I love him with all my heart and soul. And DD too! Its hard work!!! Arrrrgghhh!!

Hate feeling like I am moaning, but thats what I get told over and over.

I felt the same and still do when the drudge of the day is over. You sound to need some time out. Can you take a day off from the housework?, yes you need to shop and make meals but cleaning isn't necessary every day. I cleaned once a fortnight. Washing/ironing once a week but only had the one child plus me.

My rant consists of making sure this house selling goes smoothly. Feel everything is sabotaging it and it's not even on the market yet:(

I have just worked my butt off for the last year or so and saved every single penny and got a mortgage on my own. should be jumping for joy that I have acheived that but to be honest I am embarrassed about the state of my house. Dont get me wrong its clean but the kids dont take too long to wreck it and because the vendor prob never decorated in 20 years it looks an absolute mess!! I worry over daft things but I am truly embarrassed when I get visitors etc!!
