Hi Tiffy hun  I wish I had bitten the dentist! :rotfl:

Great news about your mum. She is definitely a fighter and I'm sure she'll make progress once she's back home again and in familiar surroundings. Big hugs to you and her. FOUR hats?! _pale_ Hun we'll have to sell our blue smarties collection....
    Much love,

thanks lexi. I think I dwell on it more when I am alone and must admit I am sometimes feeling really sorry for myself. Its great I can come here and at least someone will listen without judgement. Cant rant to family or friends as they just use the old "pull yourself together" line, from experience, that just makes me feel even worse.

cheers for the pick me up! :)

I hate it when people use that line. Just shows a complete lack of empathy, compassion and understanding.

Your feelings of suddenly feeling low are not unusual with this illness. Most of us have experienced this.

We had a lovely evening last night :kisses2:  , no hangover today but tired.

Ethel - hope you managed to get something sorted with university.

    Big hugs to all

    Good moaning guys!:hello:
Yes, I know what I typed ;) - it applies to some of us more than others.:D
I had a rough week all in all. As I posted that Mum was discharged from hospital Tuesday pm, I called her house in the evening with no answer. So I called the ward and they said yes, she was discharged. So Tiff surmises that Mum is having a catnap and leaves a message. Tried again Wednesday - with the same responses. My brother phones me late Wednesday night & said why hadn't I called Mum and I said I had but no answer. Turns out that they hadn't discharged her, they'd moved her to another ward!!!
However, this morning Tiff is pleased to report that Mum was actually discharged yesterday pm!:j Spoke to her last night, bless her.:T

So had a lot on yesterday - only managed a couple of posts. Went to the [strike]vets[/strike] err, drs and was given another med to take  but if I take it dr said it puts me at high risk of DVT so I'm not going to, met up with my support worker there, nearly fell over on some black ice and jerked my back in the car park, went to get some rubber feet for crutches/walking stick in town but they had none ("Come back in 2 weeks!) so I was then like ruddy Bambi on the ice, then we went into the Costa Del Asda (always 100 degrees in there!:D ) where a tray on the floor in the veg aisle snagged my new trousers (1st time on!:o ) and then after surviving the hoardes of shoppers who were stocking up for the next famine, my support worker and I got back into her car and set off for home and were half way there, when we missed being in a car crash literally by the skin of our teeth and right opposite an undertaker's offices too!!! You know how they say that in situations like that, your life flashes before your very eyes? Well it was just my luck that I've been through so many traumas and events, that I didn't even have enough time for that!!!!
But apart from that, I've been fine. :rotfl:
So ol' Tiffster must be on life number 3 now! ;)

So, I've said my prayers just in case!;) :D
