Aww Tiffy that crying smilie made me feel all sad! Please forgive me hun. I'd be lost without ya, you know that. Hi hun - sorry there's been a delay in the post.:rolleyes: The guys on here are wonderful and have given you a warm welcome so I just thought I'd tack mine on. Thanks for posting and sharing hun - it takes a lot of courage to do.:T
I'd advise you angel on not to try looking for 'normal' - there's no such animal!;) You are as normal as everyone else - yes, you might have a mental ill health problem but it is as important as anyone else's health problem. That's the trouble with depression - we're very good at beating ourselves up and feeling guilty or worthless but it's not true hun.

I'm so glad you've got a dr who's understanding lexi - that can make all the difference. Don't worry about the increase in the ad angel - the drs always start you on a minimum dose as a rule, to be safe. The dr will alter your meds until they've found the right level for you. I hope the counselling helps too.

Thankfully as well as our down days, there will be days that are up because nothing stays exactly the same hun. We're entitled to what happiness we can grab, even if we have depression, so look on the good days as being a bonus angel. I understand what you mean - I think the first battle is in coming to terms with it ourselves. You can end up thinking yourself into knots!:rolleyes: Just try and break everything down into manageable pieces hun and remember to be kind to yourself - you're the best friend you've got!;) Take care hun and feel better.

Hi All,

Sorry, had to rush out earlier, it's been hectic since we got back, a close friend who lost her husband last year (after a long illness) she also lost her son on wednesday whom had just turned 18 be4 xmas.


Anyway, as i said, it truly truly was a 'magical holiday', apart from that it took us over 22hrs flying out with delays at Madrid (had to change flights 3 times).
Hotel and food was soso, stuck with sea-food and salad so i knew what i was eating.:rolleyes:
I wish i could have lifted you all up and over to see the spectacular sunsets, it was breathtaking, when i know how to post pics on this thread i'll show you some snaps (any help on this?)
Done alsorts, safari's, up table top mountain, tour of cape hope, winelands, whale watching etc etc AND, yes i plucked up the courage on Wednesday and went snorkelling with the great white sharks, AMAZINGLY TERRIFYING!!:eek:

Last Saturday i got a text with the lotto numbers, would you beleive it, i got 5 numbers up:D , i won £1495 :rolleyes: although i did expect more !!
If only i had that extra number my life would have been sorted for the rest of my life! :rolleyes:

Anyway, gotta get cracking, got loads to do, will catch up this evening.
