Hi guys!:hello:
Hope we're all present and accounted for.
What an up and down week we've all had! Here's hoping next week will be kinder to some of us and continue the same way for the rest.:T
I worked myself exhausted in the garden yesterday. Naturally, being a Tiff, , I left it until it was nice and hot at 1pm. Mad dogs and Englishmen etc.
Is there such a thing as death by gardening because this morning, every fibre is telling me that I've reached the other side!:rolleyes:I even pulled a muscle in my glutimous maximus!:o First one who laughs gets a Tiffy slap!!! :rotfl:
It didn't help because I had also bought my first hose (I know - my life's exciting isn't it?! ), and DS finally managed to hook it up (why is your tap never the right one for the connector?!!!:o ) and then proceeded to laugh as I did a one woman Laurel and Hardy sketch with the nozzle settings at the other end!:rotfl:
I'd warned him that we'd be doing gardening together but he outright refused to, so Tiff started to have a tiff with him. Guess that teenage awkward git gene is starting to kick in!:D I gave him a home-made ASBO and threatened to sharpen my claws on him, clearly indicating the various points of his anatomy that would suffer this action.
No, I'm not really like that guys.;) I've figured out what to do with moody teenagers though! You play them at their own game!:D
I didn't nag or shout or lecture. I sulked and did puppy eyes and played the burning martyr and kept sighing heavily (just as they do!) as I doddered about my tasks.
At 7pm, he asked what was for dinner.
I replied "Don't know."
He asked me again at 7.30pm. I replied that I was too tired and sore to cook so he'd have to find himself something to eat. From the look on his face, you'd have thought I'd asked for a lung!:D :rotfl:
It worked though - I could actually see him thinking and trying to figure out why I wasn't threatening some nightmare punishment. He didn't know what to do with himself. :rotfl:
So he ended up feeling confused and guilty and dreading his punishment and I got to give him a taste of his own medicine!:D Oh, the jobs I have got planned for him today!:eek:Reverse psychology is a wonderful thing!:rotfl:
I hope everyone has a good day. Huge Tiff hugs to all of you and I'll catch up with you later.
Special hugs for ethel, karrie and sazzy too.Thinking of you all.:A
Much Love,

Morning Tiff.
I feel a bit ill this morning. Parents are away for a few days as you probably know it just a bit empty in the house. I went to football yesterday and we lost the game in the last minute. afterwards went to a pub with my friend but he left early as his girlfriend was hassling him. I wandered to another bar when some chavs came over to try and cheer me up. Didnt work as i was still gutted that we lost.
Might go to my grandads today and cheer him up, he gets lonely sometimes so at least we can be lonely together.
I keep playing in my mind about my OH. Because she suffers from cystic fibrosis it worries me that she'll die. I know i shouldnt and I try and put it to the back of my mind but i cant and i really feel nervous and anxious when i think about. when we first got together i was the strong one but it feels like I am becoming weaker. All my friends praise me for dealing with it but i dont feel like i deserve the praise as she has the illness and she deals with it better than me.
I think i might be missing my old job, not the type of work that I did but the people i work with, even though my boss bullied me, made me feel like !!!! and humiliated when i didnt hit my target.

Hi Everyone, Morning Tiff & LRS.
Had a lovely day yesterday, went over to see my sister and had dinner over there, which was lovely. Spent loads of time playing with her dogs, who are gorgeous. Then watched a Jimmy Carr Live DVD, which was really funny (but very Non-PC, don't watch if easily offended!).
Today is not going to be so good. Hubby is working all day. WIll be back about 5.30 this evening. My Mum is in an off mood with me (I think because I owe her some money and haven't been able to pay it back yet), so can't go and see her. Buses don't run up to my mother in laws, so can't go see her today (not up to the walk with my ankle). My nan drives me crazy, so don't feel like going to see her. So all in all, just going to sit here on my own all day.
Never mind, will try and keep myself busy. Have still got a load of ironing to do and have my book to read and my jigsaw puzzle to do. Also going to cook hubby a lovely roast dinner for when he gets home from work.
Hope you are all well, sending love n hugs to all,

OK I shall post the details of my trip - I'll keep it brief !
Sunday - the weather was glorious and we got sunburned (not badly). Went thro Northumberland and Scarborough and stayed in the Holiday Inn Express, Wakefield (Denbydale). The Red Kite pub next door is good too.
Monday - visited Lakeside and Bluewater shopping malls. Stayed in Headcorn Golf Club Lodge in Kent - very good value and lovely room.
Tuesday - drove thro Kent Sussex and Hants and stayed with parents in Bournemouth till Thursday. Beautiful scenery and stopped off in a country pub for a ploughmans
Thursday - drove to Winchester, dreadful service at the estate agents - put me off living there. Went to Oxford and Woodstock - both looked really pretty. Stopped off at the Bird on the Rock, Clungunford where we were refused service and the use of their loos, yet was still open and had customers there - it is supposed to be an award winning place and was in the middle of nowhere - the man was a d/head! Stayed at Chester.
Friday - went to Trafford Centre then drove back home.An average day in my life:hello: :mad: :coffee::coffee::coffee::T:rotfl: :rotfl:
:eek::mad: :beer:

Afternoon all.
I was at a 21st party in Dublin for a good friend last night and all her family was there. Her mother has told me she has "adopted" me. Aarrghh! But they are fabulous people.
Had a fantastic time and some great craic. If only every day could be like that.0
