Fingers crossed for the viewing cc. Have you had any feedback from your agent? Maybe the better weather will bring better results. I need another cuppa myself. Not really awake yet...

This is the person who is wanting a survey done on Tuesday and very interested, I hope our scanky neighbours don't f*ck it up.

The other jokers haven't done anything more since last week/last month - I want people to get their fking finger out - why are people so slow......:(

I swear I am the only person who hates nice weather - I feel everyone gets ignorant and uncaring, yet I am not allowed to relax and enjoy it like they do.

I also feel men don't have such pressure to be so upbeat - I feel men can be quiet and not get a row for it.
    An average day in my life:hello: :eek::mad: :coffee::coffee::coffee::T :o :rotfl: :rotfl: :p :eek::mad: :beer:

    afternoon peeps :)

I woke up dead early, but went back to bed and slept til 12.30!!! got a load of washing out in the garden and some more soaking :D

I'm just trying to decide whether to take the chance on my hair or not... if I muck it up I'll have to wait for it to grow out to be fixed  although it does look easy.... I shall ponder over a cuppa :D

Sazbomber.. 10k? are you nuts!!!! Mind you I have trouble running 100 yards :o My son did the london marathon a few years ago, they have a kids one which is 7k and starts just before the main one - he was 11 at the time and came in 9th. I was sooo proud :D

CC.. tis the same down here.. as soon as the weather is a bit nicer people are out in their gardens n stuff... doesn't bother me too much really, most of the time anyway  I give as good as I get.. if they annoy me then I'll find a really annoying CD (usually the smurfs go pop) and play it very very loudly while I go out and do sommat else, hehehe

Gem.. dont swear... Ironing is a rude word in this house :D

Have a good one everybody xxxxxxx

Sorry, had to reply to this.I think you are wrong to say medication does not help depression and i am sure there are thousands who would agree.Ok medication did not help in your case but you have no right to say it does not help at all.Depression can be caused by a chemical imbalance in the brain. In that case none of the" twelve steps" would help. Also what about the atheists among us? to them the "twelve steps" will mean nothing. One thing on the sitei agree with, that support groups and counseling can be helpful. You found something that worked for you, that's great but it is not the answer for everyone .

It's why i put FOR ME.... ;) i was talking about my experencie not anyone else's. im an atheists, but that dont stop me. the 12 steps do work for most things. it's just weather people want to go to any lenghts. which clearly you don't. which is fine that yours choice. anyway i didnt come here to mock or anything like that i found the site ,i know it works. so i thought i'd pass it on. i'll get me coat.
If i upset you don't stress, never forget that god aint finished with me yet.

Sorry, but I really can't not reply to this post. Are you thus implying that all of us can't be bothered to do anything about our mental illness? If this was a miracle cure all, don't you think all our doctors would be suggesting it?

'You know that it works' you need to add 'for me' at the end of that sentence. Mental illness is different in each person that suffers and as such no one method is going to cure everyone's depression. I went through 4 different types of medication, all of which will have worked for some people, until I found the one that worked for me. The same thing does not work in all cases.

I am pleased, particularly if you have been suffering with mental illness, that you have found something that works for you. And yes, it is worth 'suggesting' it to others as a method to consider, but I think your attitude that if we don't do it we are not prepared to go to 'any lengths' to help ourselves is disgusting.

Also please don't suggest to people that meds don't work, you are then encouraging people who are easily influenced to stop taking their medication, which is very dangerous. Doctor's put us on our medication for a reason.

This thread is a place for us to Support each other through this horrible illness and your attitude is hardly 'supportive'.

Sorry, rant over, but I really couldn't let this pass.

    Hi everyone,

How are we all today? I am doing ok. Have recovered from my terrible hangover of yesterday. Am doing well with my dieting attempt, stuck to my points and everything. Hopefully will show as a loss on the scales on Tuesday night. Ethel thanks again for suggesting the losing weight thread in the arms. I have enjoyed reading and posting on there.

Flat is a bit of a mess again, but Hubby has promised to help me tidy and clean it this week. (Will believe it when I see it tho!!).

Anyway, love N hugs to you all.
