  • Law is tough, speaking from people who do it, its very tough, a lot of work but very worthwhile, now that you can take ur focus off the ones u got a decent grade and channel the extra effort into the law.

I know I said about barclays, but nothing has been signed yet, and other offers are starting to come in.

Speaking of which, Ive jst had a call from a man for del monte (not the man from del monte) asking me about my cv on monster, hes put me forward for a job (£18k) in york, stock controller, no garauntee ill get it, but its nice to be thought of.

£18k but a lot of travelling costs, if it gets to interview stage, ill ask for a company car, lol or a bit more money, not arrogant just knowing what Im worth. ASDA (head office) have invited me to an assesment centre too, so im off there next week, retail interests me, not just the store side of things but the internal side, the ordering, the stock, how do things get there etc.

BTW, for fans of the apprentice, I read Michelle Dewberry's book yesterday, a cracking read, really inspirational.

Ethel, I admire you for making the decision to home educate your son :T Make sure you get all the help and support that you need in order to teach him. Good luck!

Let_Robinson_Sing, Congrats on the module results :T Don't be too hard on yourself about the law result. At least you know which subject you need to revise a bit more on now. V. well dont though.

learning_to_drive, things are looking a lot more positive for you in regards to a job. Lots of options for you to consider.

    Carol, what's up hun?

To everyone else (((HUGS))) I hope you're all OK.

Ideally you probably need to see an osteopath sometime next week. Is your back getting any better with those tablets?

  • Yeah thanks RBK, its better but its occurred 3 times now, the tablets whilst solving the pain are not solving the problem, now whether I go into retail, get this job with del monte (outside chance, but £21k a year im asking for if i dont get a company car) or asda h.o. or whatever, im going to be sitting down at a desk (aggravation) or working in retail store (more aggravation) I need the root cause sorted.

Im in a osteopaths on Tuesday at 2 pm for an hour consultatin :) they rung me just now. Lovely. Needs sorting, £32 per session but the pain was horrible, its better now, just twinges occasionally.
