    Hi All,

Really not had a good couple of days. A guy from nationwide came to the door yesterday about the state of my account with them!! Luckily he was quite nice and I explained that we were filing for bankruptcy, he just took my cheque book and debit card and left me a phone number to call when I had a number from the court. But it left me really shaken up. I don't want to answer the door now in case it is someone else.
Am having my hair cut to day tho, radical new style, so maybe that will make me feel a bit better. I just feel everything is soo out of control at the moment my finances, my health, the state my flat is in!! It just gets on top of me sometimes.

    Hi flis angel!:hello:
How lovely do you look in your photo hun?!;) Good to see you.

Ok re debts hun, I assume you've been to CAB?
Have they given you a debtor's template letter hun?
Fyi and all you guys - now not trying to scare you hun;) , it doesn't sound like you're anywhere near this stage yet, but if you open a door to a bailiff, it gives them the right to enter , or even if there's an open window.

For anyone with debt problems of course we've got our Debt Free Wannabee board, & CAB will contact all your creditors on your behalf if you don't feel up to that job, negotiate a budget plan with you and go to court with you for some things.

Once you've done this hun, if you haven't already, write a draft letter flis to all your creditors saying that you are currently in financial difficulties, that you are working with CAB and that you will contact them as soon as the finances have been arranged. Also tell them to address any further contact to CAB. Tell them you are not trying to avoid your financial responsibilities and that for the present time you are unable to make any further payments. Also, request that they do not visit your home or phone you and that all contact please be done through correspondance.

By taking these steps hun, you will feel a lot of pressure go and feel more relaxed at home.;)
Hope this helps you or anyone else hun. Take care flis!hug.gif

    :hello:

Ethel hun. I know it must be extremely difficult atm with what's happening with your daughter but you are doing your best as A Mother to ensure that she is looked after and cared for appropriately. She's obviously not safe to be sent home and I don't see how they can expect you to cope with her. Let us know of any developments.

Carol, make sure you take some time out and relax.

Hello Rosie (((HUGS))) I am OK thank you. What about your lovely self? Oooh well I'd like to have a look at anything that you've done.

Awww Rosie it sounds like you are a good influence on the patients at the day centre. I bet they love you being around. I hope it makes you feel good about yourself knowing that you're helping others.

You're sounding very cheerful today hun, it's really good to hear it :)

Well I've been tidying my room, sorting out various bits of paperwork and trying to organise it all. Basicslly trying to get my life back in order.

My CPN called me today. Unfortunately he said they have changed the procedure for referring people to the day centre, so it doesn't look like I'll be going which I'm pretty disappointed about tbh.

Flis21 how's the new hair cut? Do you like it?

To everyone else I hope you're OK.

    xxx

    Hi Tiff

Just a quick "Hello" and to say I hope that things get better for Ethel's daughter.

DH and I are still trying to find out what is happening to his best friend who died in October and has still not been buried or cremated. It feels as if we are in the middle of a black comedy - except it is not funny! Either a wrong message at the funeral director or the body has gone missing.

    Hugs to everyone.

    Hi elona!:hello:
Good to hear from you hun.:T
I hope everything's going to work out for ethel too hun.
As far as your situation angel, was The Coroner's Office involved and has there been an inquest hearing? It must be awful hun. Thinking of you and yours angel.hug.gif

  • Afternoon chaps, back in absolute agony, abosolute agony, not getting any better so have made an appointment for 4 p.m.

    Back pain is really bad

It sounds like your doing really well! I have suffered from awful back pain ever since a nasty incident involving me climbing (and then falling) over the fence at Glastonbury Festival when i was younger. It got really bad whilst i was pregnant. Its probably obvious but hot water bottles and hot baths can do it the world of good. I also used to get massages when the pain got too bad. I also found sleeping with a pillow between my legs can make it a bit easier at night.

I got some anti inflammatories, I think its a inflamed disc, unsure if I'll be available for Sunday's game, which would mean the goalkeeper and two defenders unavailable. On a pitch that slopes like a cliff side.

COuld be a disaster, still the lads can see if their mate does well, if he does well then he's welcome the position, naturally I'll be laughing to myself when they try and get me back 3 weeks down the line when he has cost them 2 games :) Not smug or anything, but I know how these fickle people I play football with (not friends to me) work.

Hot bath tonight I think, I have some radox too :)

Hiya RBK.. it seems she's been saving them up for a while and also, I've checked the house and she'd found my hiding place and took some meds from here too :/

Yep, it's an adolescent unit, its actually part of the priory so its really creme de la creme.. or supposed to be

I dont know yet what's going to happen, she's still in the A&E, and you know how slow they can be there.. they're waiting on bloods at the mo. So we;ll see.

Trouble is, she's putting terrible strain on her liver each time, and she's done it so often that its possible she can do real harm very easily

I'll give them another ring in a little while and see if there's any more news but its horrible just sitting here waiting :/

    Hi Ethel

I wish we could all be closer so we could all give you one big hug

    4.gif

I have heard alot of good things about the priory mainly knowing thats where jade has been from BB. :o

Its not just the strain she is putting on herself its the strain she is putting on you and everyone else. Does she have friends she talks too?

They should not be releasing your daughter until she is no longer a harm to herself, has she been sectioned?

When i was in hospital i seen people assaulting nurses and doctors, and one woman totally cut herself up, there are different levels you get on ranging from level 0 up to level 7, 8, 9, 0 being the best you can be 9 being the worst and being sectioned. I wont say which i was.

Its up to them to make sure she gets the help she needs, being in hospital can also be totally frustrating for your daughter, she may be feeling soo alone atm that she feels there is no other way.

It sounds like she is really determined on killing herself , and a few months back i was in exactly the same position (now im not going to get all deep on this) but sometimes we are soo unwell we dont understand or cant see ourselves that we are unwell, we cant see that the things we are doing are hurting people, and there is soo much in our heads buzzing around and making us soo confused, not to mention if your also put on meds that you just dont know whether your coming or going.

Your DD is very lucky to have you Ethel, dont give up, she will get there

    much love

Hi, I hope it is ok for me to join in here, I have been battling with depression, anxiety and panic attacks for most of my adult life and everything came to a head last july when I had a breakdown. Since then I have been getting a lot more help, got a lovely cpn and my doctor is great but I still am having really bad days, some days it is a fight to get out of bed, the panic attacks are still as bad as ever and I am finding it hard. Its nice to read I am not alone here anyway so thanks everyone.

    Hi lips!welcome.gif
Thanks for saying hi and sharing hun.:T
Please keep your cpn and care team aware of how you are regularly angel ok?;)
You could never be alone on this board hun. Hoping you'll stay around.hug.gif

Evenin guys.. I just took a little nap.. was soo sleepy

Daughter is going to be assessed by a crisis team at some point this evening and then sectioned for 72 hours to a securer unit.. what happens after that 72 hrs I don't know

Meanwhile.. my email to everyone under the sun got a response from the local Lib Dem councillor who just happened to be sitting in a meeting with the executive for child services.. she's asked me to give her as much info as poss via email and she'll pass it on and get it sorted ASAP :D

So things are feeling a little more positive just now.. here's hoping it keeps up :)
