Feeling a lot more positive today.. Thanks to Tiffy I feel galvanised into action and I don't feel so helpless. That's a very empowering feeling I think. I just hope I can keep up the momentum and do what I have to do for the good of my whole family.
Hope everone else is fine.. LRS I hope you're not going to be naughty and the teacher have to tell you off again today
Lots of love to everyone xxxxxx

flis21 wrote:Hi All,
Really not had a good couple of days. A guy from nationwide came to the door yesterday about the state of my account with them!! Luckily he was quite nice and I explained that we were filing for bankruptcy, he just took my cheque book and debit card and left me a phone number to call when I had a number from the court. But it left me really shaken up. I don't want to answer the door now in case it is someone else.
I know it must be hard for you, but look at this way if it is somebody else what are they going to do? I mean a field debt collector doesnt have any rights of entry and all he can do is stand there and ask for the money! All you need to do is explain to them what the situation is. They cant do anything hun. Dont get into the cycle of being afraid to answer the door. be brave hun when the bankruptcy comes through hun it will all be over.
take care

Theres a rare moment of peace happening in my house at the moment! DD is still in bed (lazy girl!) and DS has just fallen asleep in his chair. I'm not used to this 'silence' thing!
I have booked them in for their first trial session at the new nursery! I'm dreading it so much. I think i'll be the type of mum that sobs in the car outside once they've been dropped off! My DD already goes to nursery but we're having to change as we've decided i'm going to be a full-time mum! I don't know why, but the thought of it really scares me! I think once i know the kids have settled into nursery, i can start to relax a bit.
I'm pretty sure i'll be a gibbering wreck after my first week with them though, lol! I love them to bits but they can be a handful to say the least! At least i get two afternoons off! What the Deuce?0 -
OK, I hope I have done this ok. This is a picture of me at my wedding, in September 2004. I hope you don't mind that I don't post a more recent picture, but have put on a lot of weight since then and I don't normally like photos of me anyway.
Maybe if my haircut goes ok this afternoon, I will post a picture of that tonight. Anyway, here goes.Sorting my life out to give a better life to my:heartsmil 2 gorgeous boys :heartsmil0 -
Flis21 - I agree with LRS. I know its hard though hun! We bought our house 6 months ago - it was a reposession. DH was away a few weeks ago and some bailiffs called for the previous tenants. It wasn't even anything to do with me and i still felt quite shaken up! It'll all be over soon and you can start again with a clean state.
I also had my hair done this weekend! Definately go for it, theres nothing like a bit of pampering!!What the Deuce?0 -

I work in a nursery and the kids are usually fine, as you say it is the parents who tend to find it more emotional than anything. And the kids that do cry usually stop as soon as their parents leave!!
Are you having a couple of settling in sessions first? They are good as it is less traumatic for everyone and you can get to know the nursery and the staff before you are leaving your children there.Sorting my life out to give a better life to my:heartsmil 2 gorgeous boys :heartsmil0 -
You look beautiful flis. I love your dress!! I was 7 months pregnant when i got married last June, so i had to have a specially made tent/dress! Luckily i had a big bouquet that hid alot of the bump! What the Deuce?0

I keep scaring myself by watching that 'beat the bailiff' show on telly. So I am not going to turn it on today. I hate the idea of people being able to come into our house and take stuff, but OH says they can't do that unless they have a court order and we haven't been taken to court by anyone yet. Hopefully our bankruptcy should come through before that happens.
BTW - well done on your weight loss. I really want to lose weight, and am trying to do it just by changing eating habits rather than going on a strict diet, which I know I won't stick to. How have you lost your weight?Sorting my life out to give a better life to my:heartsmil 2 gorgeous boys :heartsmil0 -

My dress was a huge full on merengue, I felt just like a princess in it. Was definitely the best day of my life. I get the photos out about once a month and look over them all reminisicing about it all. Some days I wish we could do it all again, then I remember all the stress it took to plan it all and I am glad I don't have to do it again!!Sorting my life out to give a better life to my:heartsmil 2 gorgeous boys :heartsmil0
