Hi, I hope it is ok for me to join in here, I have been battling with depression, anxiety and panic attacks for most of my adult life and everything came to a head last july when I had a breakdown. Since then I have been getting a lot more help, got a lovely cpn and my doctor is great but I still am having really bad days, some days it is a fight to get out of bed, the panic attacks are still as bad as ever and I am finding it hard. Its nice to read I am not alone here anyway so thanks everyone.

    Afternoon everyone...long time no post!!

As some of you know hubby and I went to Newcastle last week to celebrate our wedding anniversary-sadly we had to come home a day early as I was feeling really ropey...2 panic attacks within a few hours! Hubby drove us home, and I have been taking it easy since then. Thankfully our internet connection was playing up too-so gave me some vital rest time!!!

Hugs, love n hugs to everyone...and fairy dust of course ;)

  • Afternoon chaps, back in absolute agony, abosolute agony, not getting any better so have made an appointment for 4 p.m.

A couple of other jobs as merchandisers that I havent got, bit disappointing as I put a lot of work into the application.

My eyes are itching, like hayfever symptoms :( annoying.

Back pain is really bad, glad im off work at the minute so therefore not clocking up sick anywhere, still awaiting news on a few other roles.

Found loads of emails from a work colleague on my googlemail inbox, so spent the morning reading our handovers, god I was so serious, so focused, so switched on, no wonder I missed it so much, massive step change.

Made me think, I can achieve better things once Im back in the arena, applied to waitrose trainee management scheme, somerfield trading manager and a couple of others. Just making plans and other things.

Docs at 4 as ive said, hopefully ill get some super pain killers, maybe even get sent for a scan, I want this to be fixed and ready for my re assault on retail, especially if its going to be putting in the hours and working hard. There is an osteopath at the bottom of my road, I dont know if anyone has experience of this / other methods then I would be happy to hear them.

Ive begun my story on depression, its going to be a good read I feel, I keep finding new material for it all the time, there is so much, emails, stuff from work, posts on here,

Im lucky to have a beautiful girlfriend who even though we have only been going out 2 weeks, we have known each other 5 months and were txting an stuff before Xmas when I had my low points. She is really supportive, Ive sorted out my personal life, its work time now, she has a 9 week old baby, so its a toughie :) but she is lovely, i treat as her if she is my own.

    Afternoon everyone.

Well.. a weird kind of day for me really. Had the CAB appointment and also gave them a copy of the Tiff letter and also a copy to my gp, as well as requesting a presceiption for my AD's, almost ran out *gulp*

When I got home, there had been no phone call from the unit where she's staying, so I rang daughter on her mobile and she told me she made a big pool of blood by cutting her wrists and that she's told staff she wont stop until she succeeds in killing herself. Meanwhile, other phone rings and its a staff member to say Louisa is ready to come home - ermm..

Me: hasn't she just cut her wrists?
    Staff: errr. yes
Me: then how can you send her home when she's clearly not safe?
Staff: well, she has to be able to contain herself and we have to manage the unit..
Me: if 8 staff can't contain her, how am I going to manage it on my own?
    Staff: errr... ummmmm
Me: I'm sorry but I'm not willing to have her here, she's not safe and i don't want anything to happen to her. You'll have to section her or find an alternative.

    and I hung up!

Sent the tiffy letter by email to MP, PCT, psychologists, local councillors, social services and eveyone else I can think of. I feel bad, like Im abandoning my lil girl, but I spoke to her and explained what I'm doing and she agreed that she wants to be somewhere more secure and protective. So we shall see.

Six months of my daughter steadily deteriorating has to stop!

Ethel sweetheart, my heart goes out to you, it really does. If it makes any difference at all, I do think you're doing the right thing, even though it must be tough. XXL hugs,

You always get this when selling a house hun,
They put in a cheeky offer to start with, it always happens up here, it's a game plan.

We had this done to us, first it was an offer of the asking price but we refused,
then he raised it by a further £10k , again we refused, they then upped to an extra £25k over asking price and still we refused him because he was so arrogant and still hadn't met our price.

We told him before he put an offer in what we wer expecting to get for the property and not to bother with a survey unless he was willing to meet the figure we wanted.

He went ahead anyway and got a full survey done, thats when he came in with the cheeky offers (as above), he came no wer near the figure we had asked for, so in the end he lost £500 on getting the place surveyed.

I have everything crossed for you.

    Hope everyone is well,
    Must run and catch PO,
    Speak soon.

    You're all stunning.

Rosie, I want to see some of these pics that you do. You'll be running that day centre soon hun :p I bet they all love you there.

    Hi RBK

    how are you today?

What would you like to see hun, my videos, my digital work or my photography work, or my painting? you name it and i will try and post it.

Was funny in the day care we had art sessions, we had a art care worker who was meant to be the one that taught things, but guess who did it, yep Rosie here, i did the art displays and got all the clients involved, gave them such achievement and to see there faces when it was finished there is no discribing of words.

Well i do seem to have a shine about me hun, that in a way wherever i am, I make people smile, make them laugh, and they know that if they need me i am here. ;)

At the unit i am at atm, i have a group of friends all ages, and its always me that has them laughing and smiling :rotfl: , so yas better be careful or i can have yas in stiches :o

hope you are ok hun ?

Hi LRS, am feeling a little better, haircut has cheered me up a bit and have got a gorgeous smelling casserole in the oven for dinner.

I still ended up watching that beat the bailiff thing, just can't seem to tear myself away.

Your suggestions are all good, but while I am in my leg cast I can't have a bath or take any exercise and I don't drive anyway (kept having panic attacks during driving lessons, so gave up!).

Two weeks today till cast comes off, not that I am counting or anything!
