Rosie why don't you get yourself one of those pill boxes that have the days of the week/times and put your meds in there.

    :hello:

Hello Rosie (((HUGS))) I am OK thank you. What about your lovely self? Oooh well I'd like to have a look at anything that you've done.

Awww Rosie it sounds like you are a good influence on the patients at the day centre. I bet they love you being around. I hope it makes you feel good about yourself knowing that you're helping others.

Well I've been tidying my room, sorting out various bits of paperwork and trying to organise it all. Basicslly trying to get my life back in order.

My CPN called me today. Unfortunately he said they have changed the procedure for referring people to the day centre, so it doesn't look like I'll be going which I'm pretty disappointed about tbh.

    xxx

    aww thanks angel

Its great to be anle to help others, if only i could give the advice i give to others to myself right? :o

I will put some stuff up later this evening for you and anyone else to have a look at, it will just be some rough stuff.

Yeah i certainly seemed to have an effect on everyone there, i think people just know that with me what ya see is what ya get, was great to be able to help them.

Hows the tidying going? im trying to do the same not getting farrr tho. :rotfl:

Did your cpn tell you what the procedure now is? You could always look into it yourself if you really want to go there, it is good you are wanting to do these things, and having been there i would advise it.

right its getting to that certain time of the night where rosie goes down hill, catch yas later

Cool. I look forward to seeing some of your work :)

The tidying up went pretty well. Managed to remove 1 dustbin bag full of crap so that must be good :)

No, he didn't tell me what the new procedure is. He said he will try but doesn't know how far he'll get. Oh well. I'm hopefully going to be back to work in 2 weeks time so that's OK. I'll just have to find something to occupy myself with.

Sorry for jumping on the post, but I need to let go and spill how i'm feeling... hubby was diagnosed with depression 3 weeks ago and has been on medication since then. On Saturday he stayed out all night and didn't make contact - went to mates house. Sunday he announces he doesn't know if he wants to be married anymore or if he loves me still, so decided he needs space and time to see if he can identify what he wants. He seemed to be getting better last week so this is really unexpected. I've spent the past few days in tears and am trying my best to hold things together, but I'm a person of reason and just keep questioning what I've done etc. He informs me I've done nothing wrong but he has things going on in his head ... I am just lost! I am sorry:-(

(((HUGS))) I'm really sorry to hear that nippy26. Maybe after having some space his head will become clearer and he will be able to think about things.

Ooh Flis - What did you have done to your hair in the end??

Hi PB, Had it cut really short, it is short round the sides and the back and really spiky on top, with a small feathery type fringe. Looks quite nice, I am still getting used to it tho! It always takes me a few days to get used to a new look, but it is really nice to have a change.

    Hi flis angel!:hello:
How lovely do you look in your photo hun?!;) Good to see you.

Ok re debts hun, I assume you've been to CAB?
Have they given you a debtor's template letter hun?
Fyi and all you guys - now not trying to scare you hun;) , it doesn't sound like you're anywhere near this stage yet, but if you open a door to a bailiff, it gives them the right to enter , or even if there's an open window.

For anyone with debt problems of course we've got our Debt Free Wannabee board, & CAB will contact all your creditors on your behalf if you don't feel up to that job, negotiate a budget plan with you and go to court with you for some things.

Once you've done this hun, if you haven't already, write a draft letter flis to all your creditors saying that you are currently in financial difficulties, that you are working with CAB and that you will contact them as soon as the finances have been arranged. Also tell them to address any further contact to CAB. Tell them you are not trying to avoid your financial responsibilities and that for the present time you are unable to make any further payments. Also, request that they do not visit your home or phone you and that all contact please be done through correspondance.

By taking these steps hun, you will feel a lot of pressure go and feel more relaxed at home.;)
Hope this helps you or anyone else hun. Take care flis!hug.gif

Thanks Tiff, I have already spoken to CCCS on the phone and our only option is bankruptcy. I am trying to sort out all our paperwork at the mo and we are going to CAB on Thursday afternoon. I have started the bankruptcy paperwork online, but we need some help in filling the forms out. We have actually change our telephone number, so not getting any phone calls at the mo, which is nice. Although I did give our new number to Nationwide when they came round the other day. It is really stressful at the moment, but I know when we actually declare bankruptcy it will be a huge weight off my mind.

Nippy, Hi and welcome to the thread. Depression and mental illness can hit relationships really hard. I know me and my OH have had our problems and I nearly walked out once. It is difficult to understand depression if you haven't had it and it is almost impossible to put into words what it is like.

3 weeks is not very long since his diagnosis and he is probably having to come to terms with some big weighty issues here. Unfortunately there is a lot of prejudice about mental illness, most people I know don't know I suffer and I go to great lengths to hide it from them.

It sounds to me like he might benefit from counselling to help him sort throught his emotions and what he wants.

I doubt it really is anything you have done, although I know that is not very helpful to hear! Can you talk to his friends / family about the situation?

I hope it all works out for you and if you need any support or advice please ask.

funny you should mention teaching, i am not qualified but have done projects teaching people to grow self esteem, confidence and motivational skills, by doing projects with people who are lacking in these areas, have worked with kids from youth projects, school, and even women in an womens refuge place helping them to see their potentials and there futures, by using photography or film as a way to express themselves.

    Check ya PMs hun

i hope if you have any appointments or anything on today it all goes well.

    much love huni
