  • Morning chaps,

Feel a bit down today, no news on a job, will there ever be? Of course stupid thinking that I will never get a job, course I will, but its getting me down. Im in absolute agony with the back, ive got some super tablets that will work as I've had them before, christ I need them to start working sharpish as Im in agony, ive had to get up early because my backs bad (mattress kanackered, ordered a new one) and I needed my tablets. Im 21 years of age, I need to get this problem nailed if i am to resume my assault on retail.

Osteopath at the bottom of the road is a possibility, I may give them a call, felt a bit ropey this morning if im honest, over it now, I aint used to mornings (being on nights before and stuff) so I associate that with the depression / downness / dread etc.

Im thinking about taking some sort of action against the I.R. for the way I was treated, after thinking about things, I dont know what my best course of action would be, I handed my notice in, but was forced into it. Now Im on the road to recovery I want to ensure that it doesnt happen to someone else. I was asked questions about previous work history and all kinds and they bullied me out, saying I would be sacked and all kinds. :(

Shouldnt have to deal with it, effectively bullying depressed people, its still a medical condition whether you can see it or not.

My best tip for falling to sleep is to shut your eyes and watch an imaginary pendulum swing back and forth - make sure your eyes move back and forth with the pendulum. It never fails for me!

Hope everyone else is ok today xxxxxxx

  • Just been reading my old emails, it appears that 28th feb was my second management interivew that I failed (a spiral of events started then I feel)

I was moved to fresh foods (trailblazing reputation) around 3 weeks after that, so its almost a year since all that occurred. From big hitter to ..... in a year!

Up early because of the back, trying not to drink coffee today, i feel i drink too much, currently yawning away

now i did actually get a medidose box when i left hospital but i have soo many tablets at then moment my rooms like a mini chemist :rotfl: , doing my best to remember tho ;) xxx

The chemist makes up my mum's pills into little blister pack things for each set, morning, afternoon, evening and night.. then she's got one per week.. cos she takes about 11 tablets a day I think.

Might be worth checking if any of the chemists in your area will do this :)

Thanks Tiff, I have already spoken to CCCS on the phone and our only option is bankruptcy. I am trying to sort out all our paperwork at the mo and we are going to CAB on Thursday afternoon. I have started the bankruptcy paperwork online, but we need some help in filling the forms out. We have actually change our telephone number, so not getting any phone calls at the mo, which is nice. Although I did give our new number to Nationwide when they came round the other day. It is really stressful at the moment, but I know when we actually declare bankruptcy it will be a huge weight off my mind.

You'll feel soo much better when it's done :) I had an ex b/f who went the bankruptcy route, and the relief when it was done was immense.

Hi PB, Had it cut really short, it is short round the sides and the back and really spiky on top, with a small feathery type fringe. Looks quite nice, I am still getting used to it tho! It always takes me a few days to get used to a new look, but it is really nice to have a change.

Sounds lovely.. do we get to see :) and you looked absolutely gorgeous in your wedding photo, you're a beautiful girl, so what if you added a few lbs since then.. you have inner beauty and it shines thru :)

With regards IR, I don't think you would get anywhere unless you let them know there was a problem. An employer cannot be held responsible for failing if they are not aware of an issue and they could come back with 'you didn't tell us that you had an issue which could affect the workplace i.e. H&S risk'. It would also be difficult to prove work was at fault unless you have a doctor or similar to back you up.

Job hunting is a difficult thing. It always seems easier to get a job when you are already working. Just keep battering away - try not get disheartened, though I know it's not easy.

Morning all. Hope you're all OK.

Learning_To_Drive I hope your back pain starts to ease with the medication.

I work as a dispenser in a pharmacy and we make up Nomad trays for patients. If your Doctor/PCT has recommended you to have one then it's free otherwise I think we charge about £3 per tray.
