Its hard though, very very hard, life becomes hell whilst Im battling it, I worrry about work and money and everything else in my life. Yesterday for example at work I reached a low because I just went through the floor, was very low and nearly in tears and I thought I was going to have a panic attack because my breathing was bad and I just was on the verge of tears.0

whereas the 50,000iu you will use 12 capsules at 20p each = £2.40 but you will have some effective strength available should avian flu ever reach the UK,
The safety consideration are such that should you ever feel suicidal you would need 88 mg per kg, or 3,520,000 IU/kg to kill a dog, so scaling that up you see the 250x 5000iu= may if taken entirely, kill a dog weighing 300grams and the 100 x 50,000=5,000,000 may just about kill a dog weighing 1.5kg. I suspect you weigh somewhat more than that as would any child entering your house and consuming either container accidentally so do be assured there is no chance with either purchase that anyone could use either pot as a way of ending anyone's life. That is not to give you any encouragement to use them irresponsibly. The science I've quoted many times says 4000iu a day is all that is needed and so stick average that as a total combined intake unless there is a flue outbreak in which case you will need to visit The Vitamin d Council.
For a good readable review of the science behind omega 3 and depression this Primer is pretty good. I personally take 1tsp Omega Juice that's 900 EPA +600 DHA daily plus a couple or so tbls of Linseed meal. My lack of depression, touch wood, given the time of year, given I haven't resorted to my lightboxes yet, and haven't had a St John's Wort or prescribed medication, is better than for many many years. Not counting my chickens yet, still got my fingers crossed but with still a few months to get through before the Winter is over, it's looking reasonably hopeful so far.
If you take1 tsp of St Clements that will provide 920mg (of which DHA – 460mg and EPA – 345mg so 2 will give you slightly more in total than I have but some of my linseed will go to make EPA. so in the end it will be similar. with about 900DHA and 700 EPA. approx.
In fact while that Healthspan P&O voucher is still working I might give myself a change from the OJ.My weight loss following Doktor Dahlqvist' Dietary Program

You will, given time. Right now there's a lot for you to deal with. As Tiffy would say try and break it down bit by bit into manageable-sized pieces, then it won't all seem so daunting when you look at it all as one big unbreechable mountain. Sx4 May 20100 -

Ok. Well, what I'll probably do is order the 50,000iu and use the Healthspan voucher to try 2 tsps of the St C. Incidentally, I did also get some Dead Sea salts - but not the 25k sack - don't know anyone with a car:):) Got a small box of it in Boots, but must say it is v soothing in the bath.

Sazbo is right - looking at the big picture is too daunting. Break everything down into tiny pieces and give yourself credit for doing each one.
I know it's very hard - I find it incredibly difficult myself. Got a lot of pats on the back for working something out at work and fixing it but I had difficulty accepting them. :wall:
Starting a new job or role is always a nervous time, which probably isn't helping.Hug provider for depression thread :grouphug:

If you had the money £17 +£20 and/or a mate who also wanted some it would be the ideal solution to get a pot of both. That way you could use the 50's for raising status and to have in reserve if you get flu/serious infection and keep the 5s for every day or 4 times a week depending on the input from other sources. My weight loss following Doktor Dahlqvist' Dietary Program

Life is just hell when Im like this, Im jst sat worrying and over worrying about everything at the minute. It feels like groundhog day because it keeps recurring, my life is hell im just sat here so so miserable.
I dont know what to do either, contracted CCCS and got a debt remedy said they were unable to help me as I only earned £550 a month and my outgoings are £750 so they suggested (in this booklet I was emailed) that I do overtime / 2nd job etc but I cant do that, my health prevents me from doing anymore hours at the minute. If im honest I cant see me lasting too long at this either, I cant hack feeling like this.
So money is a big big worry now........0 -
A recent pm has prompted me to flag up a point I raised on the previous depression thread.
Has anyone here gone through the experience of making seriously poor decisions as a result of their depression?
I'm thinking specifically about relationships but it could also apply to career or financial decisions.
I understand that this can be an ultra-sensitive issue so please feel free to message me privately if you don't wish to use the thread.
I'm trying to get a feel for whether this is a common thing or whether I'm on my own!0 -

Yes, I've made several, where should I start?
Jobs? When you are feeling better you make decisions as if you are better and completely over the issue, so I made a choice to go to First Direct, wasn't for me. Then Tax Office (turned down JS too) again wrong move, now at ASDA thought oh its a similar thing to JS, initial impressions arent too good to be honest.
Ive made too many foul ups and now im skint, dont have enough money to pay for DD's (well i do but leaves me £20 for food, clothes, social etc) .0
