Hard to say, he could be unhappy in the relationship, or he could just be thinking that he is unhappy because of the depression. Give him time and space and let him work it out himself.

He could well be depressed, but in my experience, if you totally ignore all his complaints and brush everything off with "oh, he's depressed" he will get more annoyed and feel like he isn't being taken seriously.
Has he explained why he doesn't want to go to the doctor?

Has he ever had any talking therapies? He is perfectly entitled to see a different doctor at the practice if he does feel his usual doctor does n't nderstand.
It sounds like he might just want a lot of reasurrance that he is worthy of being with you. He mentioned he doesn[t want to come back to the house - could there be a problem there - noisy neighbours, diy that needs doing or something? It is easy when we are depressed to think that everything is awful, and forget that there actually are lots of happy times. If you can get him to open up, it might help, but if he is this unhappy, seeing a doctor is a good idea. Don't worry about asking for advice, someone with better advice should be along shortly, I'm no good at this!

  • hugs to all today.

    my sleep pattern is terrible.
One day it'll be fine and the next it wont.

Thinking of going to the doctors tomorrow to get something for it.
Being tired all the time isn't helping me with things at all.

why are the back roads so dark?

I know, i never go that way when it's dark, the hills stop the natural light getting through plus the lack of street lamps.

Yes it is the one by the canal, nice place. Where is that place by the Falkirk Wheel you spoke about?

It's at the roundabout turning into the Falkirk wheel, can't remember the name, it will come to me later.

Yesterday, we looked at Old Golf Course Road in Armadale and saw this notice on a little conifer in a garden

Will the idiot stop his dog crapping in our garden, you are being watched - I agree, we had a pile of poo just inside our gate. I want to shoot bad dog owners

:rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: I must go see that when i'm next at mums.

We are proofreading the specs today - going on market tomorrow. Making a veggy bake for tea. Taking it easy.

Hope the sale goes well hun, it will be stressful hun, but will be worthwhile once you've sold up and bought your new pad.

I made pea and ham soup and having some braising steak later.
