Pumpkin, I'm on citalopram, I didn't have quite that many symptoms I don't think, I did have naseua, it went within a week or two. What dose are you on? I'd say stick with it, I was on 20, but just been moved up to 40, that's made me feel on edge, am hoping it'll fade. On a side note, I've had no problems drinking on it, except maybe getting to the perkyish stage of drunkenness a bit quicker. I don't drink till I'm sick though and I don't normally suffer anything the morning after, and didn't this morning :) the joys of being young I guess.

I indulged in some retail therepy too yesterday, Some lovely skinny jeans from gap for 6.99! The lady at the till said they'd just being returned an hour ago (nothing wrong with them guess they just changed there mind) Also a nice dress (12 pounds) and a nice bag (3 pounds) from topshop. I'm also feeling thin today, some part of my cutting out crap must be working, New jeans are size 8, new dress was size 6  But it's quite baggy, and I'm quite small. I've so much to do today, practically all my clothes need washing, so yeah I should do that now, Otherwise I'll have no uniform to wear tomorrow

Living life to the full was recommended to me and it seems very good, though not what I was looking for.
May all your dots fall silently to the ground.

    Morning all!

Well here we are - Sunday at last. MIL to be has pootled off and I am in my snuggle suit ( like jim jams only fleecy!) watching telly with a cup of tea. It all went really well and I wasn't too down - More weird really!

is anyone here on citalopram? Its what they've given me an I'm a bit worried - So far my side effects have included: Nausea (obviously), headache, sensitivity to light, headaches, bad tummy, insomnia and signs of manic behaviour:eek: And I feel odd - On edge all the time. Like when I'm in my manic phases - It feels like my whole body's vibrating inside my skin. Is this normal?

Sorry - needed to whinge and although my OH is lovely he cannot reassure me:(

Well thats enough about me how are you all?

many hugs to Tiff, Feelie, LTD, Saz, Lexi (welcome hun), Stenny, CCStar, Alex, beer, et al!

    Pumpkin xxx

Pumpkin - side effects should normally only be shortlived, but if you're at all worried please discuss your concerns with your doctor, hun. He's the expert, he'll know what's normal. Glad all went well with MIL. Enjoy your day hun. Love, Sazxxx

I've felt on edge this weekend, I had to ring my boyfriend and get him to talk to me the whole way home as I was walking, for some reason I was really worried I wasn't going to ever get home. Feeling ok so far today, no motivation as usual though, but MUST get this washing done.

Maybe you could try cutting down on anything else that might make you feel on edge, caffine and things?

Entirely understandable sweetheart. Just that we need to be a bit careful about comparing medication/dosages and symptoms on the thread, we've been giving a yellow card before now for doing that;):D I'd miss everyone here too much, I'm a bit sad I know!:) If the side effects don't improve though hun, it might be worth seeing if you can bring your appointment with her forward, would be worth it to put your mind at rest. Bug hugs hunnie, Sazxxxx
